Kerrits dropped their new fall collection just in time for my favorite season of riding!! Their fleece lined, long sleeve tops are so comfy and pretty🤩 So far I’m loving the colors and patterns of this season. So far their breeches are everything I’ve been wanting for endurance riding - less grippy silicone🎉 I can’t wait to put some miles on my new wardrobe haul😃 Stay tuned for reviews!
Thanks @ridingwarehouse and @kerritseq for always keeping me well dressed. Oh and thanks for replacing my top and socks that were sacrificed to the Tevis trail this year😂 Next year my horse better keep all their boots on so I can keep my clothes.
Please feel free to use my code SB10 for 10% off all Kerrits and other orders on Riding Warehouse:)

A lovely end to the season for the 3 FEI horses! Nixon impressed us with an easy canter around a challenging 4 short track! Excited for his coming years. After a hiccup in the middle of the season, Pina is back to being a queen and had such a pleasant and confident run in the 3 star! SAMMY! He showed us what he can be all season. Looking forward to building on his year and trying to get a step higher on his podium streak! We couldn’t do this without the support of our owners, coaches, sponsors, vets, farrier and everyone in the barn. There is so much behind the competition. Thrilled with these 3 this year. Thank you 🙏

That’s a wrap on the 2026 @retiredracehorseproject Makeover! We got home last night and Bingo is currently stretched out in his field, sleeping like a rock. He deserves it, what an absolute superstar he was this week.

I saw a lot of really nice horses and great riding and horsemanship, and was overall impressed with both the horses and the riders. It’s a truly incredible feat that RRP can pull off a show like this in the first place… with TEN disciplines running, I cannot even imagine the logistics nightmare.

If you love Thoroughbreds, you really have to put the Makeover on your bucket list. There’s just nothing else like it. It was for sure the coolest and most fun horse show I’ve ever been to, with so many good vibes and positivity. Being able to sit and watch so many different disciplines was impressive and inspiring.

I very nearly did not enter RRP this year, waiting until the very last day of late entries because I just wasn’t sure if Bingo would be ready, and was hesitant to put any pressure on myself or him. I entered in 2024 and 2025 and just didn’t make it there, but turns out third time was the charm. I’m incredibly glad that so many of you encouraged me to enter anyway… you were right! I would have had a good time regardless of the results on paper, but to finish top 5 in dressage and top 10 in eventing is the absolute cherry on top. Truly did not expect that!

RRP Week, by the numbers:
Miles walked: 39
Average hours of sleep per night: 4
Smoothies consumed: 4
Dead golf carts pushed all the way back to the barn: 1
Fingernails lost: 1
Dressage tests: 4
Jump rounds: 2
Hacks around KHP: 3
Different arenas ridden in: 8
New friends: lost count
Ribbons obtained: 7
Victory gallops: 2
Trips to the farrier: 1 (this is fewer than I expected so it feels like a win tbh)
Horses I wanted to bring home with me: at least 9

I don’t know when/if I’ll get the opportunity to do RRP again, since Bingo is not for sale and I’m tapped out on the number of horses I can accommodate, but hopefully I’ll make it back someday. Until then, huge thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special, it’s an experience I will truly never forget!
