Carbon Merrill #157 during his pre-race routine, focusing his mind, body, machine connection before taking to the Las Vegas Motor Speed Way Road Course. Those of us who operate motorcycles at a high performance level know the liabilities we assume to preform at such high demands.

Update for Sunday’s races. Unfortunately during practice the @geezerengineering pro stock bagger locked up its transmission and forced us to not race in class. @motohauscycles asked me to jockey for him on his super street entry in which we took a 6th place finish by milliseconds behind 5th, .099 to be exact. Last race of the day Liquid cooled twins race on @motohauscycles panam hooligan went well with a fourth place finish. Not a bad weekend for riding two of the three bikes for the first time at a track I’ve never been to before Fridays practice day. Thanks to all. Cant wait to get out on track with caliber of these racers again soon. Learned a lot and had a blast.

Ground control this is Major Tom, Ready for lift off🚀 I still don’t have words for how my 2026 season unfolded. Wasn’t for a lack of effort on @thebikeexperienceusa but more of who we entrusted our program with to help grow. A avoidable mechanical took us out of the running before we ever really got going. “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” — Martin Luther King Jr. 2026 race season has tested my patience, my kindness, And my love for a sport that has brought me so much joy. Thankful for the people who’ve made dark days bright 🙏🏽 I’ll see you in 2027!

Okay y’all we need a Hooligans class in @afmracing! Who’s in? @steph_k_yamaha and I had our own little hooligan battles this weekend inside the middleweight classes with guest appearances from @ridingwithcarbon and @taubman.jeremy on their Yamaha 900s. We also had a few other Dukes out there with @m45apps and @rachamaniac. I think we have the naked bike numbers to make some good racing. Leave a comment if you have a naked bike you want to come rip with us!

Post #2: Race day with @race_cra at Buttonwillow Circuit for Round 3!🏍💨🏁 What an awesome day this was (I only raced on Saturday for 2 races). I had some issues I needed to get sorted out with the R6, which in turn helped me finally feel comfortable and connected to the bike! A big thank you to @davemosstuning for helping me with some major suspension issues and making some tweaks on the bike over the summer, which led me to getting my front suspension internals redone by GP. I finally felt like I wasn't fighting the bike in every corner anymore, which significantly helped my confidence. Also, a big congrats to Dave on his win in Twins GT on Saturday! I qualified with a 1:58 which I was excited about because I hadn't seen that lap time there since Round 1! First, was the Ladies of CRA race (huge thank you to @letsridetrackdays for sponsoring this race every round! You guys rock!). @steph_k_yamaha absolutely rocked it and got a well deserved 1st. I started in 3rd but had a really good launch, which led me into 2nd place. I even got a new PB of 1:55.5 during the race, which is a lap time I never thought I'd see!! So stoked!! I was able to keep 2nd the whole race and finished 2nd place! Kelsey was on my tail the whole time though and made me really work for it...🥵 great racing Kelsey! All the ladies did a great job! Next was the amateur 600 race. With my qualifying, I started ~midpack. I had a good launch again! However, my suit came completely unzipped at the start of the 2nd lap, so I had to slow down to a 2:00 flat to try and not parachute myself off the track (both sides of my suit were legit flapping in the wind and turned me into a parachute, no joke). So needless to say, I will not make that mistake again🥲. Even though this caused the race to be a wash for me, I still finished 18/23, so not the end of the world. Never a dull moment in racing. My biggest thanks go out to Stephanie, @ridingwithcarbon and Jason for giving the best advice that really pushed me to be better this round. I couldn't have done it without you guys. Thank you thank you! Ready for Round 4 finale in October! Sick shots📸 by @caliphotography
