ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT ✨ Kenyetta McGowens started general strength training with us in May of 2023. By August, she asked “if I start Olympic lifting now, can I do our meet in November?”. She’s been Olympic lifting ever since. She says her highlight of Wolfe Strength is training with the team and the way everyone supports each other. And she also states “almost everyone there is hilarious.” Kenyetta’s goals in the gym are to continue getting stronger and someday share a bar with Erin (@beautynbrains44 ) A fun fact about Kenyetta is that she played on both a local and national Quidditch team in college (position: beater). Want to come train with our strong and mostly hilarious team?!? We offer personal training, custom programming, classes, seminars, and competitions. Only @bekis928 could convince me to do a crossfit workout with her as our last hangout before she left Houston! 😭😭😭 So grateful that you stumbled into my gym @wolfe_strength in the peak of Texas summer last year when our AC was broken and still thought we were cool enough that you joined! 💪 I realized that we didn’t take a lot of pics this last year, but I am so stoked to have met and become friends with such a genuinely wonderful human. ❤️ Who’s going to walk with me at Herman park now while I give extensive unnecessary information on the local animals?!? 🐢🦢🦫 I miss you so much but I know we will keep in touch and I’m so thankful for our friendship! I know you aren’t missing the Houston summer 🤣
