I have spent the majority of my life contending with a predatory pharmaceutical machine. I have spent those years fighting with people at every level of that industry, often for nothing. Every time I’ve had to raise my voice to advocate for myself, I’ve made a note of who it was that I had to shake to be treated like a person. The one thing I eventually noticed is that nothing changes. It doesn’t matter who you talk to. It doesn’t matter what you say, or how you say it. You get one or two rungs up the ladder to be served a 200-800% markup on something you need to live, because the people selling it to you know you have to pay it, and everyone in between pretends like that’s normal. We sit back and act like we have no recourse, while government-subsidized trolls build artificial paywalls around the means to our wellbeing.

But I wrote this song right after I watched a man do something profoundly American by neutralizing great evil with home-grown instruments of self-advocacy, and I put it online to the kind of reception I couldn’t ignore…

And as I write this post, and read headlines from people trying to make revolution seem like an ugly thing, and as my grandmother is being denied coverage for critical, specialized care, and as dozens of people share their horror stories in the comments, I feel a wave coming. I feel people coming to their senses as we approach the end of the line of responding reasonably to the unreasonable, and see that there is nothing there to justify our patience.

I think it is about time we made America great.

‘The Price’ is out on all platforms. Shoutouts to @riggedpie for the cover, my buddy @gerhardorgohome for thickening up the guitar on such short notice (and crushing it), and @marricksmith and @otrmastering for making this sound like it ought to.

Love y’all.

I had fun at VEX Worlds with @avanisabawat! I got to see a bunch of friends, meet a bunch of cool robotics peeps, and I even met Danny Devito(see second to last photo)

It was also cool seeing the product I've been working on for the past 8 months in a display case!

P.s. I may be 5ish months late to posting these😆 Avani and I volunteered for 12ish days and got to help run one of the largest robotics competitions in the world!

Probably my favorite trip to LA yet. No work, just hangs with the people that inspire and push eachother everyday. Well except for Cole, he had to work a little but you get the idea. Back to work!
