Spending time inside the @subzeroandwolf factory was a reminder that great design is in the details: the engineering, craftsmanship, function, and thousands of decisions that happen before something ever makes its way into a home.

A huge thank you to Anita and @riggsshowroom for the invitation to get to know Sub-Zero better and experience firsthand the company’s commitment to quality, testing, and innovation. From touring the manufacturing line to learning about the impact of heat on taste, the visit offered a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into creating luxury appliances.

We also got to see Sub-Zero’s new ice maker, which produces clear ice in a quiet, easy-to-clean unit. With fewer air bubbles and impurities, clear ice melts more slowly, helping drinks stay colder with less dilution.
And, of course, I had to put the induction cooktop to the test and make breakfast!

It was also a pleasure connecting with fellow Bay Area colleagues, including Sean Kelly of @lamperti_finecabinetry, Philip and Sean of @ods.architecture and Alina of @alinadrugainteriors.
Thank you again to Anita and Riggs Distributing AND Sub-Zero for a great experience and a closer look at why Sub-Zero continues to set the standard in luxury appliances.

Nothing speaks louder than the experience of a homeowner after the project is complete.

For us, a successful remodel isn’t just about how the space looks. It’s about getting the details right, delivering what was promised, and creating a home our clients can enjoy for years to come.

Thank you, Alex, for trusting America’s Dream HomeWorks with your home.

Ready to start your own transformation? Let’s talk.

I love my kitchen! It’s not like anyone else’s kitchen… I spent 11 years living on the ranch thinking about what I wanted for our family and the way I cook and the way we live and this is it.

Except one thing…

The dumb sinks with all the levels and accessories 🤪 I had a nice farmhouse sink at the old kitchen but honestly it got so beat up. I wanted stainless drop in style but I got suckered into the gadgets and it’s not worth the hype.

But I love everything else especially my @principlefaucets foot pedal to turn the water on and my garbage/compost hole on my countertop and my @subzeroandwolf glass door fridges and appliances and the antique glass cabinet @auroramills found from an old courthouse that we changed the ceiling height for. The best. 🌟

Riggs amazing Chef Christopher Harding prepared a beautiful meal, and watching him cook with Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances was a lovely lesson in how good design makes a kitchen a pleasure to use.

That matters more than most people realize. In Feng Shui, the kitchen is the heart of the home, and the stove and its burners are linked to wealth. A kitchen that is beautiful, works well, and invites people to gather brings good luck to everyone who lives there.

Thank you again to the Riggs team for your warm hospitality and a truly memorable evening.

Follow @thefengshuiexpert for more Feng Shui that works.

We’re honored to see our Morningside Project in Mill Valley featured in Timeless Living Yearbook 2027. It’s the second time one of our projects has been included in this thoughtful collection of homes from around the world.

Our heartfelt thanks to Marilee for trusting us with her home and for allowing us to share her story, and to Stephanie for capturing it so beautifully.
