To recap—2000+ jammers across 21 countries were creating games this past weekend with a theme of “Learn to Say No” 👏🏼👏🏾👏🏽👏🏿👏🏻 Cheers to everyone who participated!

Thank you to organizers, volunteer mentors, volunteer moderators, and jammers. We came together and did it! 🤸🏻‍♀️

Shout-out to @wgjcanada for hosting virtual pitch sessions and other events that were open-invite for USA-based participants 🫶🏼🙏🏼

Shout-out again to @unitytechnologies for being the global sponsor of @womengamejam as a whole! With Unity’s support, we give back and pay forward to our global admin organizers who contribute their time and energy for promotional materials, Discord server design and implementation, and other things that are essential to our operations.

A little info about Unity for those who are not familiar: Unity is the world's leading game engine, offering a suite of tools to develop, deploy, and grow games and interactive experiences across all major platforms from mobile, PC, and console, to extended reality (XR).

Another update will come later this week to share about the games that were made~ 🦦 ~Stay tuned!

This song tugs at the heartstrings so much 🥹🫶🏼 Thank you Ryokuoushoku Shakai such powerful lyrics, inspiring me with their performance on @the_firsttake in 2020. Search it up on YouTube if you haven’t seen it!

I def pronounced some Japanese incorrectly, and got some chords wrong. I will work on all of it.

A picture of a common good, public property—a barista? A something or someone positioned to bring utility to another in a setting designated for fulfillment of certain needs.

Two rounds of photo edits. Edited with desire to further “artify” the art of art.
