Summer 2026. We showed up. We showed out. 🌞🙏
From the Family & Friends Cookout to the documentary premiere of In The Chair. From Black Men Heal sessions to the PACT partnership. From Fades of the Future to the Community Appreciation Event. From Boston for my niece’s wedding to the Black Rodeo in Portland.
From our Islamic community gatherings filled with faith and brotherhood to a three day family reunion that took us out on the water for a boat ride and reminded us exactly what family means.
This summer J Styles didn’t just cut hair — we built community, told stories, healed brothers, celebrated faith, reunited family, and made memories that will last a lifetime.
And we’re just getting started. 🙏🏾💈
Thank you to every client, every partner, every community member, every brother, and every family member who showed up with us this summer. You made it all possible.
Fall is here. And we’re coming in even stronger. 💈🔥

4th Annual and we keep getting better! 🎉🙏🏾
The Family & Friends Cookout went down at Celebration Park in Federal Way and the people showed UP.
This year we brought the competition — Rock Paper Scissors, Musical Chairs, and Simon Says — and crowned champions in every game. 🏆
But the highlight of the day? The battle of the newcomers in the Rock Paper Scissors finals was INTENSE. And when it was all said and done Team 1 brought home the championship with Sophia Wilshire being crowned Rock Paper Scissors MVP! 👑🎉
Sophia — you showed up and showed OUT. MVP behavior. 🙌🏾
This cookout is more than food and games. It’s family. It’s community. It’s everything J Styles stands for — bringing people together and creating memories that last a lifetime. 🙏🏾
Year 4 is in the books. Year 5 is already going to be legendary. 💈

The main message: use those small gaps in your day to move!
It doesn’t have to be an hour—just consistent movement adds up and makes a huge difference over time.
