The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want

As I reflect on this summer, I sit in awe of all the Lord has done! I will never get over how kind He is to let us join in the work He is doing! He truly is the Good Shepherd! He is our peace, the only way to restoration, and near to us each day! Sheep are in desperate need of a shepherd, just as we are in desperate need of the Lord! What a joy it was to get to share this truth with students all summer long!

WHAT A GOD WE SERVE!!!

The lord is my good shepherd.
Words cannot fully describe the joy I have being able to serve this summer. Being able to be creative and use my gift to push the kingdom of Christ, as well as capturing God move through staff and campers will always be a blessing in my life. I’ve created life long friendships that I’ll cherish forever. This summer and the staff will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Psalms 23
The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack.
2 He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.
3 He renews my life; He leads me along the right paths for His name’s sake.
4 Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff-they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6 Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord as long as I live.

Also ignore how this is like 2 weeks late

I have gained countless friendships, experiences, and so many stories of how God used the even smallest things to bring honor and glory to Him! my love for missions has grown to be so much bigger than I could have ever expected. it was amazing to see staff, students, and adults have an appreciation for something I love so much!

to my staff, thank you! thank you for and unforgettable summer filled with late night Canes and Taco Bell runs, so many games of just dance, and weekends we spent traveling together! I saw the Lord working in your lives and in the lives of your students, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have served alongside each of you!

Petition to make Papaya the new clarity ?!?!?

My heart truly belongs to this team. These last few photos capture the joy I got to express while serving in this ministry. That first photo from silent disco prolly says it all. But honestly, looking at specifically the 2nd and 3rd pictures, the team I was a part of made it all so fulfilling. It was so sweet to step back from control and let my light tech (shoutout Riley) call the show (PD in the making), my emcee run Pro presenter (shoutout Melea), my previous light tech on lights (shoutout Justin), and of course Carter on audio for the second year in the row (as well as being PD for another service) and Joseph capturing the moment. All while I stepped back and happily thanked the Lord for His kindness in gifting me with this team. Truly in awe of their sacrifice and service to the Lord in these niche roles and how passionate they are to serve in new capacities. I am humbled.

Throughout the rest of the post, more of the Lord’s kindness is shown in so many elements of camp, little and big. Thank you Jesus for water sports, site visits, site send off and rec rally, remix day and celebrations, mega relay, inventory, and all the ministry that happens in between. In the set up, in the tear down, in the logistics and in the counting and packing. Praise God for a ministry that we get to work to steward well.

To my staff, I miss y’all. I love y’all. I mean every bit of it. Please FaceTime me always. But, above all, never lose sight of the love you have for the gospel and for Jesus Himself first.

And remember: “Do not lack diligence in zeal, be fervent in the Spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, be persistent in prayer.” Romans 12:11-12 CSB Lifeway Christian Resources 🫶

This post along with the next is just a glimpse into the joy that is found from Jesus in the world of this ministry. Specifically Southern Travel ‘26, truly y’all are such an incredible team. I look back on our moments of training week (shoutout that MJ dance) and I just remember feeling so secure knowing this team is gonna do some work for the Lord. And that’s exactly what happened.

The pictures on this post include ways I see the Lord’s kindness the most.

First, in my team. From my production crew, leadership team, to our whole staff and coordinator (we love Amanda) and even each special teamer, truly each person on this team has been hand picked and placed so perfectly. Jesus, I am thankful.

Second, are moments captured where we just worked with zeal. Some training can prepare you for the things you will do as a fuge staffer, but nothing other than the joy of the Lord can fill you with the energy and passion we have doing it. Whether it’s rec speakers on our backs walking through mud or it’s 404 silent disco headphones awaiting to be charged-these moments are cherished, not dreaded, because of the ministry it provides and the people you do it with.

More to be said on the next post later, so for now, peace! ✌️🫶

What a summer. What a God. What a Good Shepherd.

This summer, I was incredibly blessed by the staff the Lord placed around me. They loved me so well, gave the best hugs, and made every day brighter. As an FD, I couldn’t have asked for better people to do store runs with or a better team to help make the store a place where ministry happened. They didn’t see it as just a place to buy shirts and croc charms they saw it as another opportunity to have intentional conversations about Jesus. I will always be grateful for that.

There are so many things I could say about this staff. They genuinely love Jesus, desire to serve others, and do everything with the joy of the Lord. Above I listed just a few of my favorite things about each staffer as well as some of the memories I will never forget.
I will forever be grateful for the way @have_courage_b_kind lead this sweet team with such love and devotion to the Lord!

But beyond the memories with staff, I’ll never forget the ways the Lord moved this summer. I watched Him work in the lives of staffers, students, adult leaders, and churches. On the longest days, He faithfully provided strength, joy, and peace that only He could give.

This summer, people who were lost, searching, and without direction met the Good Shepherd. They found hope and life in Jesus. We witnessed lives changed, hearts transformed, and countless reminders that Jesus is still good.

Fuge Camps 2026 - The Good Shepherd 🐑 🤍

What a summer. The Lord was so faithful, and I’m beyond thankful for every person He allowed me to meet and serve alongside.

Students - Across the summer I had 146 students placed in my Bible study. I pray that every single one of you had a real encounter with God. I pray that His presence would fill your lives in ways you’ve never experienced. Remember the challenge I gave each of you to spend at least 1% of your day (15 minutes) with the Lord. If you make this your priority every day you will see so much change and growth in your lives. And to every student who wasn’t in my Bible study but interacted with me, I am so thankful that the Lord allowed us to cross paths and I am praying for each of you as you go back to your regular every day lives. To everyone, continue to live for the Lord and not yourselves. Remember the truth that if sin could fulfill you, it would have already. I am so eternally thankful for each of you who were placed with me this summer. I love you all and I pray that the Lord used me to show you His love!

My Staff - You guys have been such a blessing to serve alongside this summer. There were so many difficult days where I just wanted to turn off the alarm and go back to bed. But your want and desire to give yourselves fully to this ministry was so inspiring. It made me want to be better and in turn I feel like it did indeed build me up to be better. Thank you guys for loving me well, having faithful hearts for ministry, and giving it your all every single day. I love every single one of you.

My Leadership Team - I absolutely could not have asked for a better leadership team this summer. There were so many times where things got tough but you guys did not allow it to take your eyes off of the true mission at hand. The way you guys loved us as a staff was so beautiful and I am so grateful for the friendships we have built over this summer. I pray that you guys continue to have humble and genuine hearts for the Lord. Thank you guys for the best summer ever!
