A weekend full of engagement celebrations 💕 can’t wait to get all of our Terral’s married!

I made a solid low B average in the first-born parenting category. Some tests were a big, fat F. 😂
I was overprotective. Overcautious. Selfish at times. Prideful at others. I worried too much, held on too tight, and probably got a whole lot wrong.

But I did the best I could with what I knew then, and I’ve prayed a lot for God to fill in the gaps with the rest.

And somehow, here she is. Ready to step out into this crazy world and start figuring it out for herself. ❤️

Last night at home before college. A lot of “see you laters” that aren’t final, but sure feel different this time.

Today we start our journey just three hours down the road.

Three hours doesn’t sound very far…until it’s your first baby. 🥹❤️ #didmybest #firstborndaughter❤️ #collegebound #lordblessandkeepyoualways

Henry planned a surprise proposal for Rileigh at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake on a windy spring evening in Whitefish.

There were storm clouds over the lake, a few sprinkles of rain, and even some lightning in the distance.

Henry and Rileigh had dinner reservations at The Boat Club, but first they headed down to the docks to enjoy the view and have a drink by the lake.
What Rileigh didn’t know was that Henry was about to propose.

Spring is usually a pretty quiet time around Whitefish Lake, and the weather made the docks even quieter. The only people out there were a couple fishing nearby and me pretending to be a tourist while waiting for the big moment. 😄

When Rileigh turned around for a photo overlooking Whitefish Lake, Henry got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

She said YES! 💍

Afterward, we explored the grounds of @lodgeatwhitefishlake for photos, enjoyed some incredible skies, and wrapped up the evening with a canoe ride that got a little more exciting than expected.
