Better late than never for a day worth remembering. Celebrating you two was so special, and getting to stand by your side made it that much sweeter. 🤍

Happy and excited to announce that I will be attending medical school at Lincoln Memorial University-Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine!

First of all, I would like to give all glory to God! Without Him, none of this would be possible. I would also like to thank all of my professors throughout my years in undergrad who pushed me to be a better student. Finally, I would like to give thanks to my family and all my friends who have always supported me and my dreams to pursue medicine!

Officially a Louisville T&F Alum 🎓

My journey at Louisville has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. It all started with Coach Rasnick trying to recruit me as a multi (thank God that didn’t happen, pretty sure I wouldn’t have survived 😅). Still, I was lucky enough to be part of this team, starting with Coach Pete my freshman year, Coach Barnes sophomore year, and finishing strong with Coach Bob during my junior and senior seasons.

If younger me could see all that I’ve accomplished: clearing 6 feet, earning ACC honors, competing at Nationals, and even making it to the Olympic Trials, she’d be in awe. Every year, every coach, every teammate, and every meet taught me something new. I’ve grown so much through this sport, and I’ve collected memories I’ll never forget and friendships that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. And I especially grateful for my family and friends at home, who continued to support me even while being 12 hours away.

I’m endlessly thankful for every coach, teammate, and trainer who believed in me, challenged me, and stood by me through the highs and lows. You all saw potential in me even when I struggled to see it in myself.
Somewhere along the way, I realized just how mental this sport really is. Track isn’t just about physical strength, it’s about mindset, resilience, and learning to silence the doubt. There were tough moments, but they taught me patience, humility, and how to trust God’s timing.

Before college, I was gifted a book called Chop Wood, Carry Water, and one line stuck with me: “Your value comes from who you are, not what you do.” That reminder kept me grounded when the pressure was heavy and the results didn’t always reflect the work.

So if I leave you with anything it’s this, don’t let your worth be defined by stats, titles, or temporary things. Your identity runs deeper than your performance. Find joy in the little moments, hold on to the people who lift you up, and stay true to who you are.

Thank you track for shaping me, for challenging me, and for giving me some of the best friends and memories I could’ve ever asked for!!
