That’s a C :)

FINALLYYYYYYY I DID SOMETHING AGAIN and It’s never felt nicer to be back! Everyone involved was such a joy, and I never felt myself or anyone go unappreciated. New faces, old ones, and ones I’ve always hoped to work with galore! If only there were a series of nonsensical, repetitive vocalizations to describe the manner in which we all go together. Ah well, another one for the history books! Thanks to everyone who saw us!!!

Patty Simcox ‼️📣📚

My exploration of Patty led me to believe she’s an alternate version of Sandy. Beneath Patty’s bubbly, cheerful exterior can lie someone who’s suffocated under family or high school expectations. She attempts to break free from that by befriending the Greasers and Pink Ladies, but unlike Sandy— Patty was more of a “try-hard” than an authentic and vulnerable person.
In the end, it’s hilarious to think that getting punched to her senses was what she needed to accept herself and appreciate what’s all around her. Eugene especially🤭

I wanna thank all of the cast and crew of Grease for welcoming me to my first community theatre show here at Selma Arts Center. It’s really an honor to work with amazing and talented individuals, most of who I wished to work with because all of them inspired me to keep doing what I love.💕

That’s a wrap on Grease! 🚗⚡️ What an absolute honor it was to work with such a multi-talented cast that I now get to call family.Huge shoutout to my director @summersession93 for casting me, and @smw28289 for being an incredible stage manager throughout this whole process. To @brivillacastle and @leilaumoc , you were the best ADs we could ask for (thanks for putting up with my dad jokes 🤣).To my entire Grease family and @selmaartscenter , thank you for the best 3 months of my life. I’ve never felt so loved and embraced. You all hold a massive piece of my heart, and I can’t wait to stay in touch.
