moving from nyc was such a crazy change, i always had thought it was a city i would live in forever and ever. as life would have it however, that just wasn’t possible. pictured or not, thank you to everyone i met and know yall are cherished forever. until next time <3 onto to new adventures!

very late, but i am so so so grateful for the experience i was given at amda. every moment was worth it, despite how hard and exhausting it was, because it made me the performer i am today and will continue to become. every scene, solo, duet, group number, song, etc was a learning experience and i have learned so much about myself throughout this whole journey. i cannot wait to see what the future holds. and for every person i met at amda, thank you for being a part of this chapter in my life. i love each and every one of you and hope to see & work with you guys. and to my parents, thank you for being so supportive and there for me even though my crazy dream is not the easiest lol

i miss it already, but i am so blessed 💋💋

“Wondering what she’s been up to?”

HEY SHE GRADUATED! 🎉
Two years of blood, sweat and tears and I’m one step closer to achieving my dream. Don’t get it twisted,this was BY FAR the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m forever thankful for my family who is a branch when I’m tired of flying, catches me when I fall off said branch and always reminding me that there are plenty of folks on the other side endlessly working to make sure I succeed. I know two people specifically who are putting in overtime. What I am they gave me and I owe them everything.🤍Thank you to my teachers, who guided me on this chapter of my journey. Your wisdom will be like a ringing in my ear. Congratulations to my classmates, we did it! Thank you for your creativity, absurdity, and camaraderie. I cherish each of you dearly. AUNTIE LOVES YOUUUU💜💜 Holla @ me anytime.The road don’t stop here, we’ve only reached a milestone but I’m gonna sing and dance all the way to the end✨

Kiss today goodbye…

I keep rewriting this and am not sure where to start. I have so many things I want to say. 1 being I will forever be grateful for this school and the faculty. I have learned so much that I will take with me as a performer but also a person. I remember back to when I was applying to schools and being worried that it wasn’t a traditional four year college. I am so so so glad I chose AMDA. It was better than I ever could have imagined. It felt like one of those dance movies where all they would do is act, dance, and sing. However, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. There were many days where I felt down and not good enough to be here but I pushed through and kept going. I find myself normalizing my day to day a lot. But, if younger me knew that in my 20s I’d be living in NYC (the best city), auditioning for Broadway shows, meeting some of the coolest people, going to a top 5 musical theater conservatory, and seeing shows on a regular!! I wouldn’t have believed it. But of course I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for so many people. The list is insanely long but the person who always kept me going was my mom. If it weren’t the countless nights of you waiting in the car for me to get out of dance, summer intensives, all the money spent on pointe shoes and lessons, or just being the mom. I wouldn’t be here.

Lastly, I am so excited to see where each and every one of you go. You all have such bright futures ahead of you. It has been a joy to work beside so many of you and I am already excited for future projects where we get to work beside each other again. And to Amy and Grier I am excited for countless laughs ahead of us. I am so thankful that you guys (7B) decided to shine flashlights across the courtyard into our dorm. I love you guys so much.

With that said….. I AM OFFICIALLY A PROFESSIONAL PERFORMER!!!!!!!

D4A will always be family and oh the memories we have made! I love every single one of them!!! How I will miss them soooooo much! We had nothing but a GOOD TIME this semester 💜💜💜
