I don’t think I’ll ever truly gather the words to encapsulate what this sport meant to me.
5 years ago, I went out for tennis as a joke with absolutely no experience and zero expectations. Having the opportunity to play collegiate tennis was never part of the plan I saw for myself, nor something I thought I’d ever be able to do.
These past 3 years have been the most special years of my life, and I cannot believe it is over. I still feel like I have so much left to give to this sport. But this chapter ending is yet another reminder that all things on earth are temporary, therefore, I feel abundantly blessed for the short time that I did have.
The sport itself will always be in my life, but it’s the people that will always have a special place in my heart. Over the past two years, my teammates have become my best friends and family. I am confident that regardless of where we are in the world, we know we can always count on and come back to one another. My prayer is that my teammates remember me for the teammate I was rather than the player.
There is too long of a list of people to thank for all of the opportunities I’ve been given to grow as a player- But God deserves all the glory! While I know one day I look back on this chapter for the short time it was, I will always remember the work God did in my heart and how He has used this sport to shape and strengthen me for the even bigger plans He has ahead!

thank you tennis🤍
