Sophomore year brought a bigger course load, more AP classes and a busy volleyball schedule for @rileyvbeach 📚🏐

Her go-to? Keeping everything in one planner. She maps out assignments, due dates and practices so she can stay organized, focused and make time for recovery on her off days.

A little planning can go a long way when you’re balancing school and volleyball!

WHAT MAKES YOUR BEACH VOLLEYBALL PARTNER A SUPER GIRL? 🏐✨

At the Super Girl Festival Women’s Open, we asked a few athletes to flip the spotlight onto their teammates and share what makes the person beside them a SUPER GIRL. 💪🌊

Featuring:

🏐 Riley Sharver — Local high school athlete
🏐 Ambre Stehle — California
🏐 Isa De La Rosa Sanchez — Colombia 🇨🇴 | now living in Virginia Beach
🏐 Priscila Almeida — Brazil 🇧🇷 | now living in Virginia Beach

Different backgrounds. Different journeys. One court.

And sometimes, being a Super Girl is about the teammate beside you — the one who pushes you, supports you and brings out your best.

We’ve Got Her Covered. ✨

RILEY SCHARVER TAKES THE TOP SPOT! 🏆🌊🏄‍♀️🔥

Riley Scharver claims 1st place in the Girls Longboard 14 & Up Final, finishing with a 6.50 total score and taking the win by just 0.30 points! 👏🏾

And she had a little extra love on the beach! Some of Riley’s First Colonial volleyball teammates came out to support her, trading the court for the sand to cheer on their teammate as she competed for the title! 🏐➡️🏄‍♀️🌊

Riley posted scoring rides of 3.00 and 3.50 to secure the top spot in a tight final.

TEAMMATES ON THE COURT. SUPPORTERS ON THE SAND. 🩷

Congratulations, Riley! 🥇🌊
