A story once deemed so scandalous it was banned in 18th-century France. In Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s choreography, we follow Manon as she is torn between her devotion to Des Grieux and the security offered by wealth. Her choices carry a heavy price, revealing the unforgiving nature of a society where status often dictates the value of human dignity.

I survived my first two weeks back at work after 1 year and 10 months 🙌🏻🤍

Coming back with the Kylian program has been such an honor and a joy, even though you can’t imagine how much pain my body has been through 😇

Going back to ballet isn’t quite the same anymore.
Waking up at 6:30, preparing breakfast, lunch and snack boxes for kindergarten, getting dinner ready, finding time to play with my little one…
By the time I get to the company, it already feels like lunchtime😅

Me vs my schedule, every single day.

It’s tough, but this is the life I chose and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m so grateful for my family and friends, and for being reminded how much joy dancing brings me.

Not being able to spend as much time with my little one makes the moments we have together even more precious 💕

I can’t wait to be back on stage 🩰✨

Pilates every morning before class just feels like a vitamin for the day🤍

The 2026/2027 season is just around the corner!
Soon, we will meet again in our auditoriums, and we cannot wait to share everything we have prepared for the upcoming year. A diverse programme awaits, with truly something for everyone.
You can look forward not only to the return of favourite productions, but above all to two major premieres. The first will be the iconic work One of a Kind by world-renowned choreographer Jiří Kylián, followed by Giselle, choreographed and directed by our Artistic Director Filip Barankiewicz.

My first season as a professional dancer with Czech National Ballet has officially come to an end, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this incredible journey. ✨

Ending the season with Who Cares? by Balanchine made it even more special. It was such a joy to be part of this beautiful ballet and the perfect way to close my professional season❤️

So grateful for this beautiful first chapter.
