Mother: So what did you do on your talk show this week?

Daughter: Well. Let’s see. I interviewed three sensational sistas whose ages no one would ever guess. 👀
Ate several pints of bourbon and whiskey infused ice cream with singer October London, then surprised him for his birthday. 🥃🎂🍨
Showcased three organizations whose members do incredible work for men, women and children across the country. 💪🏾
Interviewed two remarkable women who served in the U.S. Army.🫡
Then, I cut up with a reality star-turned-skincare mogul and her hilarious clothing designer bestie, who “was married for like, 45 minutes” before she went on to marry the true love of her life. ♥️😂
So yeah, it was a pretty great week in some pretty great outfits! 😎
Mother: Oh. That sounds nice. So what about next week?🤔

I want to say thanks to everyone for your prayers, check-ins, and good energy. I shared in my stories that I had a bad reaction to an antibiotic last week, and baby, it had me on my BACK. But I’m on the mend, and my first time out of the house in a week took me to the Portia Show! 💜

Did you know the average age women start menopause in the US is 51? ⁠

Perimenopause was not broadly talked about when I experienced full menopause (12 consecutive months without a menstrual period) in my early 40s, but I always stayed close and had conversations with my doctor.
⁠
Changes in your periods, sleep, or mood? Make an appointment with your healthcare provider. You deserve answers and support, not years of simply pushing through.⁠

October is Menopause Awareness Month. Let’s keep having these conversations—so more women feel informed, supported, and less alone. ❤️

I started Zeal at 58. I celebrated my 61st birthday and 32 years of marriage. And I still have dreams I’m excited to chase.⁠

So when you start wondering what’s next, write down everything you’ve accomplished. Remember what you bring to the table—then remember you are the table.

You were amazing in your 20s, killing it in your 30s, and you’re still becoming in your 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. There is so much more life to live. 💛⁠
