POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My haul from Saturday and Sunday of #PZF26! It’s so easy to go hogwild on trades and purchases because everyone is so creative and lovely!(i couldn’t tag everyone because there is a 20 account limit 😅)

I don’t really have a photo of me in action for tabling Saturday besides the one I posted, but thank you to everyone that visited, flipped through my scraps, traded, and bought something from me.

I’m approaching the one year of trying out any tabling (PZF 25 was my first ever)! I’m still learning but I have fun, even if I get exhausted!

(All zines listed in the Alt text, if you have more questions, ask!) The Children's Book "Frankie Steals the Dog Show" with a sticker on top of it, a big green apple sticker with a tiny angry face, the small zine Everything I swallowed & Shoulda Spit, Gravity Loop Year One, My Home: Artist Statement and Quild Design Process, Hola the time is now, and suggested writing in 2026 a lyric essay.

"rinky dink press (rdp) is on a mission to get poetry back in the hands (and pockets) of the people. To date, we’ve published over 100 single-author micro-collections in microzine form, each priced at $1. Not only are we curating socially resonant poetry, we’re publishing it in a DIY container."

Revamped the site! Hadn't updated in over a year, so here's a year and change in review post, why not.

mikebagwell.me

Pulled it off of the boring + kinda expensive + annoying to update platform, kept the design still kinda boring + lazy but astro + cloudflare pages is fun and essentially free besides domain.

Year + of lower submissions but some things I'm really proud of like the new Thirty West chapbook, lots of art from Gilgamesh and elsewhere, 2 years of Ghost Harmonics! including the new mag, and some conference talks, guest lectures, and interactive digital works I should figure out adding to the site.

Not only do we have different TYPES of zines in the distro, but we also have different ways to purchase them. One of those ways is through our a-ma-ZINE Minizinerama Machine! ⋆｡𖦹°⭒˚｡⋆

If you’re feeling some 90’s nostalgia, stop by and use our Minizinerama to purchase mini zines or stickers using good old fashioned quarters. **Make sure to bring your own change as we don’t have a whole lot in the distro! ｡𖦹°‧

We’re open from 11am - 6pm today, stop in and check out our many offerings. *:･°❀.ೃ࿔*

⚠️⚠️ @rinkydinkpress will be open for submissions for May, June, and July ⚠️⚠️⚠️
So if you have a collection of 5 or 6 micro-poems (or micro-flash, micro-memoir, etc) you can find the guidelines on our website. Just google rinky dink press if you don't already have it bookmarked or tattooed on your shoulder.
Here are some leftover AWP conference shenanigans featuring some of our authors and friends to confuse the algorithm.

Tiny poems, big desert energy. 🌵
Grateful for the opportunity to meet these fine people and share the stage at the Rinky Dink poetry festival on Grand Ave. in Phoenix.
Proof that the best things come in small packages (and short stanzas).
I was excited to read a couple of the micro-poems from my mini-zine collection, “Wheels on the Pavement,” and a few other poems.
I came back with a whole new haul of itty bitty poetry collections that pack a big punch.
And some new poet friends.
Thanks, Rinky Dink!

Pull up to a poetry fest on Grand Ave 🖤
Tap into local fashion at ModPop 🛍️
Or end the week playing lotería in the park 🎉

Save this for the weekend, send it to someone who never knows what to do, and go actually show up somewhere🔥

First morning at AWP this man came up to our table to ask if we had any offsites, because he said our offsite last year in LA with @thewaxpaper was his favorite. Then he asked if @erik.bitsui was with us again and a woman nearby said "I know Erik! I interviewed him once!"
So thanks to @adozennothingpoetry for allowing us to share a stellar offsite event this year in Baltimore. It was awesome to have so many of our favorite people gathered together in one cool venue.

So much love to @rinkydinkpress !

Thank you for bringing us back together for such a special reading (Baby Girl’s first!) with such a range of styles. The city has grown up with us and you all are still doing what you do best and supporting all types of creatives across the globe—all within the space of a single, folded sheet of paper.

I can’t wait to see what you do in the next decade!
