I created this concept inspired by The Dark Knight by Alexander McQueen in 1998 that inspired by joan of arc, a piece I’ve always seen as a powerful masterpiece. I tried to reinterpret its mood in my own way, with my current understanding of styling and storytelling through a project like this. “Song of the Siren” by Jakarta-based designer Rio Rinardo is a graduate lingerie collection developed at ESMOD Jakarta that explores the tension between allure and danger found in siren mythology. Sheer fabrics, fluid draping, frayed edges, and raw textures trace the body with a sense of vulnerability, while silhouettes shift between control and collapse. In a restrained palette of black, white, and deep blue, the collection evokes depth, mystery, and quiet intensity under the name Impuls Somaé.
