A year ago, Justin Timberlake gifted us an album that marked another chapter in his brilliant musical career, "Everything I Thought It Was" 🥳

Referred by his fans by the acronym #eitiw , this masterpiece is exactly everything we thought Justin is:

The composer of profound lyrics such as "Drown", "Alone", "Paradise" and "Conditions"

The seductive and engaging beats, his trademark, such as "Infinity Sex" and "No Angels"

The #pop perfection "Play", the incredibly danceable "Imagination" and "My Favorite Drug" and one of the best pop songs ever created: "F**kin' Up The Disco"!

The #vocals , complex harmonies and infectious #rnb beats of "What Lovers Do" and "Flame"

#gospel ? #rock ? R&B? Pop? #soul ? Powerful vocals? Harmonies? "Sanctified" is all of that and more. One of the best compositions by the #princeofpop

#love songs? We have it! "Selfish" is beautiful and addictive. The emotion we feel when listening to this song after a 6-year hiatus is indescribable

And "Technicolor"? 7 minutes in Paradise! The interlude, the transition... just like the old days. One of the best songs of JT's career

We even have Afrobeat with "Liar"

And the most honest and vulnerable song of his career as a composer, and the best introduction of his discography with "Memphis"

We want to thank Justin for giving us yet another masterpiece and also thank all the composers, producers and musicians who helped bring this incredible project to life! 🥹 Every track on this album is very special to its fans!

Thank you ❤🥹

Justin Timberlake’s latest masterpiece, “Everything I Thought It Was,” is his sixth studio album that was released on March 15th, 2024, under the renowned record label RCA Records. This highly anticipated album marks his triumphant return to the studio after a six-year hiatus since his previous album, “Man of the Woods,” which was released on February 02, 2018.

The creative genius behind the songwriting and production of this album is none other than Justin Timberlake himself, along with a stellar team of talented individuals. The list includes Kenyon Dixon, Floyd Nathaniel “Danja” Hills, Angel López, Federico Vindver, Adam Richard Wiles, famously known as Calvin Harris, Ryan Tedder, Michael Pollack, Zach Skelton, Andrew DeRoberts, Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley, Larrance Dopson, Rio Root, Amy Allen, Henry Walter, also known as Cirkut, Louis Bell, Adedamola Adefolahan, better known as Fireboy DML, Atia “INK” Boggs, James Fauntleroy, Tobechukwu Dubem “Tobe” Nwigwe, Robin Tadross, also known as Rob Knox, Theron Thomas, Douglas Ford, and Elliot Ives.

During an interview for Apple Music’s New Music Daily promotion, Timberlake revealed that the album’s title was inspired by a friend’s comment. After listening to the album, the friend exclaimed, “This sounds like everything I thought I wanted from you.” This powerful statement resonated with Timberlake, leading him to incorporate it as the album title, which beautifully concludes the opening track, “Memphis.”

Prepare to be captivated by the musical brilliance and heartfelt lyrics that Justin Timberlake has poured into “Everything I Thought It Was.” This album is a testament to his growth as an artist and promises to deliver an unforgettable listening experience. Get ready to embark on a musical journey like no other!! #justintimberlake #everythingithoughtitwas #rnb #pop #afrobeats
