Daddy today makes two years since you’ve departed I miss and love you so much! The holidays are not the same but I luckily still get reminders of your presence from God and have taken the time to do a lot of reflection this past week.

One important thing ive learned on this healing journey is life is full of ups and downs and unexpected obstacles. We have to decide when life changing events occur will you allow it to help you grow as a person or will you choose to stay stuck. At first I was definitely guilty of choosing to stay stuck and not be my best self. However through God’s power and the support systems I have in my Brother, my Mom, therapy, and the desire I had within myself to get out the darkness I was in I was able to do so. Taking the first initial steps I needed to grow as a person, move my life forward, and truly start the healing process from your passing by being honest with myself. Two years have passed now and although I am still a work in progress I can say I have gained a lot more wisdom and maturity from this journey and how I choose to carry myself.

I wish we had more time but I still feel so blessed I got to enjoy so many great memories with you over the years. Even through the ups and downs I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Today I’m just reminiscing on a few of many favorite memories with me, you , and Carl from childhood. The Friday night outings to ESPN Zone in downtown Baltimore playing that yellow paddle boat game. The endless road trips for summer track meets cranking some Rick Ross with the top down. My personal favorite being when we lost the car keys on The Storm Runner ride at Hershey Park at closing time and used a flashlight to look for them in the bushes 🤣 the car keys have yet to be found lol.

I hope I am doing you proud Dad and my promise is to continue to put my best foot forward and continue betting on myself. Till we meet again man may you continue to rest peacefully I love and miss you always OG! SL7❤️🕊️

This past Saturday afternoon @queenscollegeofficial was an extraordinary vibe because the @pearlsandivyfoundationofqueens invited me and my #blackfamilyownedmicrobusinessoftheyear @thenourishspot and other women owned and black owned small businesses and sponsors to participate in their historic, first ever @flavoredfoodwinefestival 🍁

Me, @jadaw963 , Denim and @jadee1ise served up samples of our signature #strawberrybananaslamma #smoothie and two of our fresh juices — #spicymangolemonade & #justbeetit 🥤

The weather was gorgeous. The attendees didnt disappoint either as they gathered together in their flyest fits and beautiful smiles.
