POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
POV: you spent the day at our first ever conference (pinch us !!!!) and this is what you saw (spoiler: it was awesome) 🤭⭐️✨🎤💫📸

first up, George told us 90% of your audience isn’t ready to buy yet, so stop selling and start giving !!!!

then beyond the brand account, where the panel debated whether humanising a brand had to mean a face, and whether founder-led really worked 👀

Grace’s take: it takes a cast, not one founder, but a group of faces that each has a different job. what’s realistic for you? and who can make up your cast?

then Ray showed us social is a search engine now. discovery has changed, so posting and hoping doesn’t work anymore. good social SEO means knowing the problems your audience is trying to solve and the words they actually use, because keywords alone won’t cut it 🤘

our speakers got all the claps !!!!

Faye and Sophie had a live and candid chat on on how to build a presence people care about when you’re the strategy and the execution, from joining culture instead of creating it, to why people buy from people, to the litmus test of would you stop on your own for you page (complete with matching tees, so iconic)

then the trust panel got into whether leaders are wrong to still want follower report 🤫

Lucy’s take: they’re not, you just have to start from your goal, not your metric. if you’re selling a pan, trust isn’t the thing to track, quality and durability is, so work out the few things people really care about and measure against those!

and Verity made the case for a new metric: brand love - which is a long game, not influencer marketing with a new name, and the way you get leadership to back it is to tie it to the numbers a CFO cares about: retention, LTV and conversion 🤓

and chloe closed on how to survive the scroll, encouraging us that it’s okay to spend guilt-free time online and teaching us how to recognise the signs of burnout when you’re professionally online 🧠
