La verdadera protección energética es el DISCERNIMIENTO

¿Sabes cuál es la verdadera protección energética? Es el discernimiento. Y esto no significa aprender a cerrar el mundo. Se trata de cómo permanecer abierta sin perderte en el mundo, porque formas parte de este enorme campo vivo.

El campo de energía de nuestra Madre Tierra es como una gran red fascial que respira y se mueve. Todos los meridianos se entrelazan, y tus acciones, tus pensamientos y la conciencia colectiva son como la acupuntura: ya sea estimulando, armonizando o bloqueando el flujo de esta energía planetaria.

Así que ser sensible es estar abierta a todos estos ríos invisibles de energía que fluyen a través de todo. Los pensamientos y las emociones del colectivo, desde la ansiedad de tu vecino hasta las guerras en el mundo, están impactando directamente tu propia conciencia. El dolor del colectivo toca tu corazón.

Perfeccionar la habilidad del discernimiento es informar a tu sistema de separación y distinción sin desconexión. Puedo sentirte sin convertirme en ti. Puedo presenciar tu dolor sin absorberlo en mí misma. Puedo ver todos mis propios patrones humanos sin que eso signifique algo sobre la verdad de quién soy. Y puedo dejarte caminar tu propio camino sin necesidad de controlarlo, para así mantenerme enraizada en el mío.

Así que este sentido de discernimiento, como un “sentido arácnido”, es una herramienta que puedes entrenar y perfeccionar.

I didn’t go looking for teachers this year. I went looking for what my hands didn’t know yet.

And everywhere I went, someone was already standing there — ready to hand me a piece of it.

This year took me to floors in Amsterdam, rooms in the UK, quiet corners of Portugal, and home again in Johannesburg. I learned to feel what the body says before it speaks. I was held by people who do this work with their whole hearts, and I watched strangers become the kind of witnesses you only find in rooms where everyone agreed to be real.

Craniosacral therapy. Visceral work. Somatic alignment. The deep, wordless places. Each a different language for the same truth: the body remembers, and it can be met.

To every teacher I chose to sit with this year — thank you. Not for giving me answers, but for handing me back the parts of myself I’d gone looking for.

I surrender fully in the learning, and I carry it home as my own.

@risewith.sage‘s story of awakening and healing is a remarkable one. From chronic Lyme disease with severe neurological and psychological symptoms, to finding ayahuasca and eventually stepping onto the medicine path herself.

She has now dedicated nearly a decade of studying with the Shipibo lineage of the Amazon. Her perspective is deeply grounded, nuanced, and valuable.

There are many narratives surrounding ayahuasca. Fear, fascination, or obsession among a few.

In his conversation we ground the topic. We talk about what it’s actually like to work with the medicine, the path from apprentice to Maestra, the importance of integrity in these spaces, and the reality that this path is not something to approach casually.

Our tiny little puddle jumper landed on a small bumpy airstrip hidden deep in the Amazon jungle. It was the last of four flights and several days of traveling, exploring and resting preparing ourselves for the mysterious adventure ahead.

My initial reason for coming included an invitation to shoot some photos/video of the three week Peruvian retreat. Pretty quickly into the journey I discovered Gods covert operation to bring me to this place to heal my heart, my mind, and my body.

You see, earlier this summer the doctors found some melanoma in my body which was successfully removed. Thankfully we found it early. And about a month before I was scheduled to leave for Peru, my doc had some concerns about a small lump in my breast- which is never fun to hear. I decided to do a test, which came back inconclusive… so I trusted my gut and continued on with the journey.

As soon as I arrived in the jungle I was informed that I should take a specific plant medicine for three weeks that is known to heal cancer, Lyme disease, dengue fever, parasites, and inflammation among many other things. All of which I’ve had. If you know me… then you know I believe God gave us plants to help support and heal the body, and I usually try to heal the natural way first so I was down. They made the bark into a tea I drank twice a day. Along with the tea was a special diet (that I’ve been prescribed to stay on till Christmas). This diet excludes sugar, salt, oils, pork, dairy, processed foods, lemon, and alcohol. I would have to say that so far salt is the most difficult, well… and cheese maybe.

Listen, I didn’t even realize I had inflammation in my body until 1 week into this and it was all completely gone. I lost excess weight, felt great, clear minded, no pains…. I’m now convinced almost anything can be healed with fasting and our diet alone. It’s not easy, but trust me, SO WORTH IT.

About two weeks into the retreat and I truly believed and had confirmation that the cancer was gone. Even more than that though was the amount of peace I found in this place. I truly felt like I found Gods voice, not in some distant whisper but in the stillness of my own heart. ♥️

In the field of family constellations, we work with death a lot. Death, like birth is a bookend to life, a normal part of human existence and so we swim in the field of it every day. That’s why we look at it, because it’s there anyway, so pretending it’s not is only going to cause stuckness and dis-ease somewhere along the line.

Tonight @seeingwithyourheart we looked death right in the eye and walked with it, and honestly it was just the sweetest thing. Not an easy thing to do initially - well worth it, always.
