Moto camping bliss this past weekend ✨

Nothing like finding a quiet campsite somewhere way down a dirt road and calling it home for a little while. Definitely think this needs to be an annual trip because these mountains are unreal!

More bangers by @joshuaseinen capturing the golden moments from our ride + camp sessions along the ‘lake’ section of the CGT (top secret working title for the guide I’m working on for @route16_ca 😉)

Couldn’t have asked for a better crew to bring this project to life in the tight end-of-season window we had. Between Calen’s mechanical and mapping wizardry (always saving the day when things went sideways) and Josh literally delivering a warm bowl of jambalaya to my tent while I nursed a gnarly headache—these two kept the wheels turning in every way. Grateful beyond words to have them in my corner.

Now I’m fully settled into fall mode: wrapped in wool, tea forever steeping, rain tapping on the skylight while Yara snoozes next to me, happy to have me back home.

The research phase is pretty much complete, and I’ve unofficially swapped the saddle for the desk (okay, I’ll probably still sneak out for a couple more rides). These days I’m writing away and watching the last leaves drop, just waiting on the first snow.

I can’t wait to share this guide with you all—it’s been a journey. Already dreaming of riding it again next year… and maybe launching a few other ideas I’ve got tucked away.

Feel like a check in is MUCH needed. As of 2 months ago back surgery was in the cards with Tansy’s IVDD. And thinking that was my ONLY option I knew it was best for her to look elsewhere. And thanks to @rishjewelry telling me about @aquapaws_k9rehab Langley I had an option. And wow did we ever!! After a good 5 sessions in total of acupuncture, red light therapy and water treadmill @aquapaws_k9rehab Langley location Tansy went from not being able to walk at all to being back to her spunky doxie self. With some extra spunk I would say. So thank you thank you @aquapaws_k9rehab Langley for giving the hope we needed. Tansy is not at all out of the woods. The therapy is ongoing when the funds are there❤️all in all I am beyond thankful for getting my dog back and my snuggle buddy. Watching her constantly use her stairs on and off the couch is like she knows she has a mobility issue. So these moments I get with her in the evening where she naps on the couch(after using the steps)are moments I’m very grateful for❤️❤️❤️

Here are some things I’ve gotten over the years from people who make things 🌼 This is also a personal reminder that I have cool stuff already and I want to save up for a new car this month (I wanted to buy something today)
