In this week’s edition of Izzy’s Rookies to Watch… we’ve got 34th pick Meleek Thomas.

Thomas could be a sneaky-good fit next to Donovan Mitchell and James Harden. The shooting is real, the defensive activity is there, and I’m watching to see how quickly he earns a role.

What do you think, hoops fans?⬇️

🎥 Episode 2 of Izzy’s Rookies to Watch
Bruce Thornton is a 4-year college vet, a physical guard, and a guy who knows how to RUN AN OFFENSE.

With Houston needing reliable guard play, don’t be surprised if he works his way into the rotation.

Remember the name.

Sergio De Larrea was cooking today with an impressive double-double in just 30 minutes. Coming into the draft, opinions on De Larrea were split. Some saw him as more of an off-ball guard with solid playmaking instincts, while others believed he had the potential to develop into a true point guard. Early on in Vegas, it’s looking like that transition might happen a lot sooner than expected. Really excited to see how Dallas decides to use him this season. Do y’all think De Larrea earns a big role right away, or is he more of a long-term project? #dallasmavericks #valenciabasket #mavericksbasketball #nbadraft #draftdayhq

Jack Kayil is a name many may not be familiar with yet in this draft. At 6’5, Kayil has an extremely deep scoring bag to go along with elite playmaking skills at the pro level. Kayil committed to play at Gonzaga last year, but a rise in NBA interest was enough for Kayil to declare this year. How high do you think Kayil will be selected? #germanybasketball #nba #gonzaga #nbadraft #draftdayhq
