They warned us about the rain. No one warned us how vibrant, colorful, and unforgettable Ireland would be. 💚

Threads of our heritage, stories in every stitch. ✨

Still reflecting on our workshop earlier this month exploring the art of Marash embroidery with @mk__embroidery and the history of Armenian manuscripts with @tmbwriter, where tradition met craftsmanship. 📜🧵

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event - your support makes a meaningful impact. All proceeds will benefit ARS sponsored programs.

111 years.

In honor of today’s Armenian Genocide commemoration, here is a compilation of words, art, and dear memories. In August 2025, I had the opportunity to return to the Indigenous lands of my ancestors, where the Armenian Genocide took place in modern Turkey. With my baba and a radiant group of diverse Armenians who became family, we hiked many daunting mountains and traversed ancient lands that now cradle the bones of our ancestors—a tender balance of heartache and joy that comes with exile and return. As our ancestors teach us, we can never stop climbing and creating in their memory. Justice and reparations for all genocide survivors in all occupied and colonized lands 🧡 we refuse to forget the deep imprint of your revolutionary movements. Because of them, we embody what was once deemed impossible.

111 years of stubbornly resisting erasure, remembering our history with our heads held high, and demanding justice in their name. This one is for our ancestors—past, present, and future, old and new—who survived the apocalypse of their time so that we could live, run, dance, sing, and strive in their memory. Everything I am is because of you.
