@danielhenningla and I planned to grab a bite in Santa Monica last night over a week ago when we were there for one of his author’s signings and it was so lovely. We hadn’t been to Brentwood Market in Years and decided to circle back this week. Then I found out @olivieblake would be at the fantastic @dieselbookstore signing the paperback edition of Gifted & Talented which was narrated by my ‘sis’ @eunicewongnarration and we HAD to say Hi!!

Danny and I narrated sections of The Atlas Complex (and Danny did more as Gideon) and I narrated Girl Dinner with the fabulous @ritaremixed (a book that I still think about today.)

It’s just so lovely to reconnect with authors you love narrating for!! Such a great catch up!! Her newest book Dreamland will be out soon narrated by @ferdellecapistrano and @heyitsmaxmeyers and I can’t wait to listen!!!

Check out @hbomax to watch the latest English dub series (originally in German) that I had the pleasure of casting and directing - first episode is out now. Thank you to the whole team at @iyunohq for having me on this one and making it super easy. Big shout out to all the actors who brought their A game and delivered!! Enjoy the ride and see if you can figure out who turned in Yusuf!!

𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙘: 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙝
@prhaudio @macmillan.audio @olivieblake @snemethparker ciacourtvo @stonexemma @megsalter @ritaremixed
.
Host Jo Reed and contributor Leslie Fine kick off their discussion of rule-breaking new thrillers with 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙨 by Marisa Kashino, performed by Cia Court, in which a competitive housing market becomes the breeding ground for obsession. They turn to 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣 by Emma Stonex, narrated by Edward Rowe and Meg Salter, a tense story of revenge that widens into an exploration of class, trauma, and the moments that define a life. Finally, they consider 𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 by Olivie Blake, a sorority-set satire with sharp dialogue and darker implications, told through the alternating performances of Stephanie Németh-Parker and Rita Amparita. Across all three titles, the conversation underscores how the right voices can amplify a thriller’s tension, humor, and emotional stakes.
