The games are cancelled, my fall market was cancelled, and at this point I’m taking the hint and staying home. Candles lit all over the house and I won’t be counting my coffee intake 😝🤎

Praying for all my Florida neighbors still dealing with the weather this weekend too, especially those on the gulf and in the path of the storm. 🤍

If I knew quiet mornings were on the other side of all that hustle, maybe I would’ve gotten here sooner. 🤍

I still have a full day and a long to-do list. I create content, run @riverhomeco , answer emails, pack orders, plan campaigns, and there is always something that needs my attention. But the goals have shifted.

Im not wondering how late I’ll be picking up the kids, im thinking about which practice or activity I get to take them to tonight. More time for my family, my friends, my home, and the work that feels much closer to my calling than anything I’ve done before.

I loved my job before, but it didn’t love me back. Romanticizing a life at home sounded a little ridiculous to me until I started living one.
