THE WHARF — A NEW CHAPTER

After years of planning, development, and thoughtfully bringing this iconic St. Augustine waterfront property back to life, we are excited to officially announce the next chapter of The Wharf.

River Restaurant Group, the team behind River & Fort and The Saint, has been selected as the restaurant operator of The Wharf and will oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, bringing its proven hospitality and restaurant expertise to this special waterfront destination.

The Wharf will remain independently owned by the White family, with Cathy and David White, owners of O.C. White’s Seafood & Spirits, and their daughters, Julie Alford and Jennifer White, owners of The White Room, coming together as partners in developing The Wharf. For decades, the family has invested in preserving and improving properties along St. Augustine’s historic bayfront, and The Wharf represents the next chapter in that commitment.

For generations, this location has been part of St. Augustine’s dining history. The property was once home to the former Santa Maria Restaurant, a familiar St. Augustine landmark dating back to 1949.

More than 75 years after waterfront dining first began at this historic location, a new chapter is about to begin.

Whether arriving from downtown or pulling up by boat from the Intracoastal, the experience of The Wharf begins before you even take your seat.

Opening in 2026.

Grafton & Fleck’s, a new steakhouse and rooftop lounge from River Restaurant Group, is coming to 299 Atlantic Boulevard, the former Ragtime Tavern property. For more than four decades this corner has been a gathering place for Atlantic Beach, and we’re honored to begin its next chapter.
