Long post warning ⚠️ stay if you please😌 if not, enjoy these pics of some happy moments to inspire your day, carry on. If you stayed, here’s what’s up: My goal this year was to make this account more of a priority, expand to other platforms, and branch out my ~brand~. A little passion project, if you will. But coming back to Athens from winter break, I felt completely beat down and just sad. I was out of my routine, and the break brought up some more negative feelings for me than restful. I overall was not feeling good about myself: how I looked, my inability to motivate, lack of productivity. Everything felt like it was spiraling, and the confident person I saw in myself was fading. Regardless of why, it’s hard to help yourself when you don't feel good. I felt lazy. Couldn’t get out of bed in the morning. Taking care of my body was moving to last on my list, even though that was where a lot of my frustration was coming from. I’ve been in a small period of reflection the last few days, and it’s made me able to pick out some moments I have been really happy these last 2 months, so that’s what I’ve shared above. Recognizing these moments has reminded me that what I’m feeling right now is temporary. I’d be lying if I said I was feeling 100% and am not still dealing with some internal struggles right now. But since I haven’t been vocal about my feelings, I figured others might not be also. So, my goal in sharing this is to hopefully make someone else feel less alone❤️
