I got what I wanted🤍🙏🥹

…Last week kicked off what has now become a 25+ show run I have between now and Dec. 18th at incredible venues and festivals all over. I got to play shows in beautiful, iconic & tropical locations last week with absolutely brilliant artists. One morning when I was in Pensacola, I was feeling some sadness and grief over a project so dear to my heart that I’d worked on for the last 8 years that didn’t turn out like I thought it would…and then what hit me was: the space the fateful exit of that project made is what made this whole year of my DREAM shows and touring possible…and that THIS is exactly what I wanted. What I always dreamed of. Singing my songs every night on tour. I have worked so hard for this. And I got it. I got what I wanted. Sadness always has a purpose, it morphs into a song, a lightbulb, or makes way for something so much better than what you had to let go of..I’ve cried a lot of happy tears over the last few days over and over repeating to myself “I got what I wanted.” It’s a miracle. And I see it🥹I’m so grateful for this time in my life. Thank you to everyone who has helped make all this a reality and thank you to everyone in the audiences!

Soooo I have a show tonight, 2 tomorrow and another 7 next week🤣..it’s actually blowing me away. I love it. I hope I get to see you at one of them out there on the road🤍

Still riding high from an incredible weekend of music in Durango!

The inaugural San Juan Songwriters Festival brought together an amazing group of songwriter, filling the weekend with great songs, stories, laughs, and many moments we won’t soon forget.

A HUGE thank you to @iammusicinstitute for helping to make this festival come to life, to every artist who shared their music with us, and to everyone who came out and helped make the first one so special.

There were a lot of moments to look back at but here are a few from the weekend.
