POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Here’s to 30 and many more years of randomness! Surprise!! Not that any of you wouldve guessed it in a million years! Born from a messy little note in my phone, this story bloomed faster than I expected. I have been making up stories since I was little, but this one felt different the moment it arrived. Myssira grew from Mississippi folklore, stitched together with a little romance, a little mystery, and a river that never forgets. Don’t let the pink dress fool you, this story is dark, magical, and full of Mississippi mystery. A few brave beta readers have already stepped into Myssira and they are loving it. I hope you will too. My editor and I are polishing everything now, and while there are still a few steps before it reaches the shelves, I wanted to bring you along for the ride. ETA: The Blood & The Black River, Book One, coming summer 2026. A peek inside Myssira: A land built on magic, tradition, and the seven families who guard both. Ellara Backwater was meant to marry into that world without asking questions. Then the Black River started whispering to her. Visions she cannot explain. A bond she cannot deny. A magic she was never taught to trust. And a truth someone has worked very hard to keep buried. As desire tangles with danger, Ellara must decide what she is willing to risk when the river calls her name. Because the river remembers what everyone else forgets. I am also working with an incredible Mississippi artist on the official cover and cannot wait to show you. The first round of developmental edits is complete and this story is turning into something wild, emotional, and so much fun. Think Where the Crawdads Sing with a Southern-magical twist, blended with Practical Magic and Harry Potter. Welcome to Myssira. I hope you enjoy your stay!

Book Club Call 📚 I’m starting a little book club this week and I’m looking for 4–5 beta readers who would want to meet one night this week to go over the first 5 chapters of my novel, The Blood and the Black River. If you love fantasy, mystery, or just enjoy reading and giving honest feedback, I’d love to have you. I’ll send your copy of the first 5 chapters tomorrow night so you have a little time to read before we meet. Comment or message me if you’re interested! (I lost the original post so please forgive me)

if i could sum up the last two years in one pic 🥲 lol no but fr, what a blessing it is that a somewhat joking vision has become a reality & is only getting better. greenhouse coffee has been my greatest adventure & although it may not be the adventure i anticipated by 27, i wouldn’t trade it for a thing. God has taught me so much about myself, others, & Himself through this little shipping container. i’m reminded daily that life is not always rainbows & butterflies but if you step back & look for it, there’s always a bit of joy worth sharing. i hope that 10 years from now i can look back & be grateful for this season of greenhouse coffee & the kind, beautiful & unexpected people that have come along with it. i love this place & my people so much! 🎂💕✨ unfortunate but sweet when you get so caught up in the moment you forget to get pics with everyone 🥲
