#CapCut DECK RESTORATION WITH SUBTITLES! 🔥🔥A quick walkthrough of the deck restoration and what was used and how and why it was done! This biggest takeaway from this project for me was the prep and the people that told me it couldn’t be saved or restored. As a painter and finisher my first natural instinct is to see what I can preserve and restore before replacing. You can ask any tradesman and they have different takes on it but that’s my take on it. It was a challenge but it was done! The cutting of the board seams was difficult at times making sure I didn’t go into the joists and cause any structural damage. Whoever built the deck didn’t space the boards properly and it was causing a lot of problems. That along with the Bondo drying on me within seconds and I mean 15 seconds as I mixed it 😂. I had to find the right amount of cream hardener to use and the right mixture and time. Thankfully @libonaughty93 had a canopy I was able to borrow and gave me some shade as I mixed up the Bondo. Again without the help of my beautiful wife @laceylu21 it would have taken twice as long, she’s an amazing help and a real trooper in this heat. Big ups to @rjpropanting for the idea of grabbing the festool 150 on the spot! I needed it anyway 🤘🔥🙌The project was a great addition to the portfolio and the customer was extremely happy 😃 #lovewhatyoudo #paintlife #painting #staining #deck #wood #exterior #exteriordesign #bondo #prep #sanding #festool #subtitle #restoration #homeimprovement #reels #instagood
