🏆 WEEK 3 PLAYER OF THE WEEK 🏆

LUCAS RODRIGUEZ did not just put up numbers.

He took over the game.

The Burke Catholic senior delivered one of Week 3’s top all-around performances, leading the offense, finishing drives himself, and making game-changing plays on defense.

175 passing yards

ON THE GROUND:
4 rushing touchdowns

TOTAL:
225 yards of offense | 4 rushing touchdowns

ON DEFENSE:

SECTION NINE POWER 40 — SEPTEMBER 23 👑

Three weeks in, the board is getting harder to hold.

Middletown remains No. 1 after moving to 3–0 with two shutouts and wins over Cornwall and Minisink.

Cornwall holds No. 2 after pushing Middletown to one point and answering with a 49–7 win over Monroe-Woodbury. Newburgh stays No. 3 after outscoring Warwick and Washingtonville 90–18 over its last two games.

Lourdes surges into the Top 5. Port Jervis stays at No. 6. Monroe and Minisink remain inside the Top 10 but enter this week with plenty to prove.

And just outside the Top 10:

11. Kingston
12. Pine Bush
13. Beacon

Beacon is 3–0. Kingston is allowing just 12 points per game. Pine Bush owns the head-to-head win over Warwick.

The Power 40 isn’t a standings table. We’re looking at who you beat, who you lost to, how you performed, head-to-head results, scoring margin, schedule strength and what the numbers actually show.

Full 1–40 breakdown and the numbers behind the rankings are now live on KOT845.com.
