If you’ve been a follower, or even a true supporter of what I do, you’ll know the significance extraterrestrial energy has in my life.⁣
⁣
For me, it’s never been just about music. It’s about frequencies, energy, and the way I perceive and move through the world day to day. I feel like I have to keep this frequency around me at all times.⁣
⁣
With that being said, here are some of my favourite tracks I’ve been sent recently — and I genuinely think everyone should experience them.⁣
⁣
If you saw my post yesterday about the intro I created, connecting with your third eye, this is exactly the same energy I hear within these tracks. I believe there’s a massive difference when sounds like these are played compared to everything else. The energy shifts completely — which, in my opinion, is exactly what’s supposed to happen.⁣
⁣
Every one of these tracks is absolutely phenomenal and dangerous in its own way.⁣
⁣
Especially that first one… it sets the tone for everything that follows. 🛸⁣

The Dark Figure is the third release on Aztekan label, introducing London-based @rkay_aespheric with a five-track EP focused on hypnotic, functional techno built for long-form mixing and proper systems.

Across five tracks — Sleep Walker, Portal, Dreams and Nightmares, Sleep Paralysis Three Times In a Row, and Receiving a Lobotomy From The Dark Figure — RKAY explores dark atmospheres, psychological tension, and subtle groove development. Each track is designed as a tool for pacing, extended blends, and focused dance floors.

@rkay_aespheric has developed a sound that moves through atmospheric, spaced out, and raw techno, both in his productions and his mixes.
Releasing on his own imprint Aespheric, and other labels across the music scene, his work is driven by real life experiences and his photography practice, where nothing is rehearsed but everything is intentional which makes his sound deliver a unique as well as euphoric experience.

On todays New Music Friday: Joel Mull supplies driving, progressive techno and house for Stunden. Tigerskin follows, unearthing a deep, vinyl-only archival cut from 2004. Shifting styles, Hungarian producer Bal 5000 issues Balearic deep disco on Citizens of Vice, and Octavcat returns to VSLI with glistening electronica. Finally, London-based RayK delivers dark, moody techno experiments via Float.

A word by TWR72: “When @rkay_aespheric sent me the demo of The Power of 3-4, I was intrigued in a strange but exciting way. The track is bold, aggressive, and completely in your face, yet at the same time it felt like a breath of fresh air. A sound that stands apart from much of what I hear in the scene today.

What I love most is the huge stadium-like energy the track carries. It keeps building to a point where you think it has reached its absolute peak — and then it pushes even further, taking it over the edge. That bold decision from Rkay is something I truly respect.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and experienced the final Snooze at @corsica.studios with us 🤍

When we started Snooze two years ago, it was simply a gathering of friends, a space to play the music we loved and create opportunities for one another. We never imagined it would grow into what it has today. The community that formed around it is what made every struggle and every risk worth it.

Sunday felt like the purest expression of that journey. Across two rooms, eight incredibly talented artists came together to soundtrack the closing of a beautiful chapter.

@dyinginbeauty and @rhynok_ opened the day with warmth and intention, setting the tone beautifully.

@atibo___ and @rkay_aespheric carried us deeper into the afternoon with rolling, immersive energy.

@command.control and @zorzdj pushed their respective rooms to their peak with power and control

@joeystella_ and @ocul.ustechno guided us masterfully through the final stretch.

And a surprise closing from our founder @slumber_snz brought everything full circle.

Corsica Studios has been the foundation of our vision, and we’re honoured to have been given the space to grow freely. From day one, they trusted us, supported us, and believed in what we were building.

To every dancer, artist, friend, and collaborator who crossed those floors with us over the past two years: this chapter exists because of you.

Farewell to a space that shaped so much of who we are.
