Our new album of old songs is out today! Lost & Found: The Say Us Archives is available on all streaming platforms. This has been a wild journey of discovery. Like finding a box of old memento’s in a dusty attic or in this case a dusty hard drive. Each song triggers a memory of the early days a band finding its feet and forging lifelong friendships. When we began this project we thought we may have a few songs to share but we kept finding more songs , long forgotten. It soon blossomed into a full length album. Sometimes looking back artistically can be an uncomfortable or exposed feeling but in this case it just felt like visiting an old neighborhood that you used to hang out in, everything looks a bit different but it still feels familiar. Finally we want to offer a sincere and heartfelt thankyou to the fans of our music who have supported us along the way. We hope you enjoy this expanded view of our early stages. XO Z

So, in the end, September didn’t crush me with its surprising laurels and Oct is here now, with some changing colours and retrospect. I couldn’t have felt more touched that Jeff Tweedy and Charlotte Cornfield and Finneas came to gift me my own songs, fresh again. That KD Lang even knows my name and that Sam Smith and Chilly Gonzales, Justin Vernon and Peaches showed up with their kind words. Finneas and his perfect dead pan gave me my story from a new perspective along with a glass rectangular prism, and sang My Moon like it should be his- now and forever. I’ve known who Billie Eilish is since at LEAST 2020, duh (cue little melody from Bad Guy)

Roch Voisine was utterly charming and in his career recap looked like a hot Quebecois Ricky Martin, Loverboy was what stuck in my head long after all the musical dust settled (plus the story of ‘everybody’s WAITIN for the weekend😆’.) And, standing anywhere near the Hip yet again blew my 1999/ 22 year old/ opening-band mind. Downie was very present. Thankyou to Strombo for being a kind eye ever since our mutually early days, to @kamperett for classing me up in black wool silks🖤 and to @100percentsilkshop for all the things that dangled 💡. And most of all to the @cshfmusic for this extraordinary acknowledgment.

Afie and @rlackritz very kindly and thoughtfully sent a an @thejunoawards to me for the @bahamasmusic win in March, and I very much appreciate it. Afie is one of the kindest/most talented people I’ve come across, and getting to produce/engineer/play/mix this record was something I didn’t take lightly. We’re on tour across Canada/US this fall, and making live or otherwise with the team is a joy.

Dear Friends,
It’s been one year since ‘Radio Waves’ was released. A huge thank you to all who gave it a spin these last 365 days. I love playing these songs for you all.

It would be impossible for me to accurately show my gratitude to those who lent their time, talent and friendship to this record in a single post. That being said, I want to thank again @rlackritz @meggsbenedict @communismmusic @matthewjohnson @carlinjnicholson @meko.brain @joshuavt just to name a few. This record wouldn’t exist without any of you. ❤️
