First and foremost, Big ups to the man above.
Without him, any of this wouldn’t be possible!

To my campaign team, y’all already know how we rocking! From the long nights, early mornings, skipping class, last-minute changes, and all my crazy ideas, y’all never stopped showing up for me. Thank you for believing in my vision and working tirelessly to bring it to life. This crown belongs to y’all just as much as it belongs to me!

To every single person who voted, reposted, attended an event, or simply encouraged me along the way, THANK YOU! Y’all showed up and showed out for da kid! The amount of love and support I received throughout this campaign is something I will NEVER forget. I don’t take a single bit of it for granted!

This campaign was about so much more than a title. It was about bringing people together, creating memories, and showing what can happen when you have a vision and people who believe in it.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone!

With love,
Kai Kemp

In an effort to highlight the people who are leading colleges and universities across the nation, we at Watch The Yard reached out to Valdosta State University and did an interview with Kai Kemp (@RLYR1CH), the 2025–2026 Student Government Association president.

The position of student government president is a highly respected role and there is a special pride that one takes in being elected by their peers to lead. Kai Kemp, who is majoring in Organizational Leadership , is from Thomasville, Georgia .

♦️He is a proud Spring 2025 initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi.

We interviewed Kai Kemp and talked to him about his position, goals, future and what it means to hold this type of leadership position in 2025–2026.

When I first walked this path, I knew I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself. But what I didn’t realize was just how much Kappa Alpha psi would push me to evolve into a better version of myself.

To my brothers, I owe my gratitude for your unwavering support, for showing me the true meaning of what it means to lead, to serve, and to strive for greatness. And to Kappa Alpha Psi, I promise to carry our legacy with pride, integrity, and honor, knowing that the path I walk is illuminated by the wisdom of those who came before me.

To Titans of the Everlasting Krimson Kingdom, this is only the beginning. Together, we will continue to achieve, rise, and build a future as powerful as the legacy we inherit.
