Our daughter, Sophia Elizabeth Ochoa, made her arrival safely at home this week. Labor was hard and fast. We are so blessed to be parents of a beautiful baby girl and thanking the Lord for every answered prayer.
Sophia means “wisdom”
Elizabeth means “God is my oath”
Thank you, Lord! 🩷

Happy birthday to my best friend 🥳 Celebrating your last year in your 20’s. I’m thankful for your life! For the sacrifices you make (and the ones you refuse to make) for your family. For the provider you are. And the protector 🔫😉. And the pastor 📖Your boys are obsessed with you and want to be just like you. You make us all laugh. They follow you around like little ducklings and it makes my heart so happy. We have literally grown up together and it still feels like we are growing up. There’s no one else I want to do that with but you. Have the best year of blessings, growth, and new revelations 🤍 I love you!

Yesterday in the car Matt and I were talking about life and the transition our family and church is in the middle of. We were talking about how much we are trusting the Lord and how we believe that everything will happen in its right time, because He thinks of the little things and knows what is best. That He is taking care of us and He will see His plans through. Basically we were talking about the peace we both have through it all, although we never actually said the word. And as we were talking, our three year old started singing a song he knows, but has NEVER sang out loud,

“I’ve got peace like a river, peace like a river, peace like a river in my soul! I’ve got peace like a river, peace like a river, peace like a river in my soul!“

We both looked at each other and smiled and it just felt like a wink from the Lord and confirmation that everything we were saying was true.
Just a reminder that the Lord is good and your little one knows it in his soul better than you do sometimes 😆

“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭3‬ ‭

Happy Father’s Day to the one our boys adore! The fun parent, their protector, their provider, and their pastor. I’m thankful our children will always know you as dad first, and that you will always fight for them. I love that I see bits of you in them, the best parts. I know they are lucky to have you.

Happy Father’s Day to my dad. I wouldn’t be who I am, nor would I know Whose I am, if it weren’t for him.

Happy Father’s Day to my father-in-law. The one who raised my husband and the father of my children. His best friend.

Woodland Park, Colorado 2026 🌲 So many dreams and plans finally fulfilled on this trip! 🥹 we all shed some tears saying goodbye but nothing makes you happier than for your loved ones to pursue the Lord’s calling on their life, even if it’s not near you 😭🤍 Can’t wait to be back!

There’s something special about driving through a beautiful neighborhood and realizing… people actually LIVE here. 🌳🏡

Kids riding bikes. Families walking dogs. Quiet streets. Mature trees. Homes filled with memories, dinners, celebrations, and life.

And the truth is… homeownership is still possible.

I know social media and the news can make it feel impossible sometimes. Prices. Rates. Competition. Stress. But there are still good people buying homes every single day by having a plan, staying patient, and taking the right steps.

Owning a home is more than just “having a mortgage.”
It’s stability. Privacy. Freedom. Pride. A place that’s yours.

A place where your kids grow up.
A backyard for summer BBQs.
A garage full of projects.
A Christmas tree in your own living room.
A quiet cup of coffee on your own porch.

And yes… you should enjoy it.

You don’t need a million dollars to build a beautiful life. Sometimes it starts with simply believing it’s possible for you too.

Visalia has some incredible neighborhoods, incredible people, and incredible opportunities for families willing to take the next step.

If buying a home feels far away right now, don’t get discouraged. Start preparing. Start learning. Start building a plan. One day becomes a lot sooner when you move with intention. 🔑

Happy 3rd birthday to our firstborn, Matthew Jr.! He is headstrong, passionate, fierce, and brave! He is silly and goofy. He is a protector (like, will get in front of a stranger and stare him down if he thinks someone is in trouble). He is a leader and does his own thing while others follow. He is SO intelligent. He is naturally athletic. He loves to cuddle and give hugs. He is empathetic. He is an amazing big brother! There is no one like him! There is truly no relationship like the one with your firstborn. The one who made you a parent. It’s a special bond like no other! He has been such a gift to us and we are enjoying watching him grow into who God created him to be! We love you, Matthew!!!!
