#NYRPSpringPicnic is a wrap! 🌹 Thank you to all who came out last night—we exceeded our fundraising goal! 💚 We were thrilled to honor landscape design visionaries Janice Parker (@janiceparkerjpla) and Walter Hood (@hooddesignstudio) as well as our community gardeners with our first-ever NYRP Garden Spotlight Awards ☀️ In the Palm House at @brooklynbotanic, Emmy Award-winning journalist Frank DiLella (@fdilella) hosted and Broadway talent Adam Jacobs (@adamjacobsnyc) and Kate Rockwell (@katerockwellnyc) performed in addition to @thebrooklynmusicschool faculty jazz ensemble 🎷 Programming included outdoor cocktails, herbal infusions, a culinary demonstration, and a terrarium workshop—all hosted by NYRP gardeners—in addition to the seated dinner 🪴 📸: @bfa @neilrasmus @lanseenee

Challenge and affirmation accepted in honor of ALL BLACK lives lost where justice was not served. They Mattered! I AM A BLACK WOMAN. We are BLACK WOMEN! We too have a VOICE... We have felt the pain of being NOT BEING HEARD or RESPECTED , and we have decided we will be deliberate about building others! All too often, we women were taught to criticize each other instead of building each other up. I will continue to support other black women as we continue our collective journey of raising our vibration for ourselves, our families, and the benefit of humanity. I have tagged some of my sisters. Upload 1 picture of you, and tag other sisters to do the same. ❤️ 🖤 💚 #blackwomanchallenge #BLM #blackwomen #sisters 🙏🏼 @k_ieron3 for the #challenge
