A weekend of top tier motorsport.

Headed down to Silverstone to see @p1cip and @grantwilliamsracing take the Knobbly out for some proper work. An absolutely mega piece of machinery to watch being hustled round of the worlds most iconic circuits.

For Sunday I grabbed a @carnatter ticket and headed back for more classic racing action, with a variety of cars to enjoy thanks to @motorracinglegends brilliantly put together schedule, it made for a full weekend of enjoying some proper motorsport.

One of the best highlights from this Octobers scrambled, the incredible Mercedes-McLaren SLR 722GT, built as a true gentleman's GT1 car.

Chassis P116-009 was originally a road going SLR which was turned into what we saw the RML Group built 722 GT.

Bicester Scramble October 2026 completed!

It was so hard to narrow down to 20 pictures, but these are some of my favourites. There was such a good mix of ages and types of cars. The weather was glorious and we had a fantastic day out!

Until next time 🫡

2026… ☑️

Wow, where can I start? What was supposed to be an attempt to reduce stress and focus on motor racing, couldn’t have been more stressful and less focused on motor racing! Starting a team from scratch, building new cars, acquiring staff, equipment and partners, its been a ride. There is an Elephant 🐘 in the room that I can’t yet discuss and probably won’t ever, as it’s nobody’s business and believe it or not just because this business model is on the TV, it doesn’t give all and sundry the right to know. What I will tell you is, the goings on of 2026 will be easily accessible for all to see, eventually.

I won’t be waiting for apologies from the many many BTCC fans that owe me one either, because to be quite frank, I have thick skin and everybody is entitled to an opinion, but knowing the facts, might just, alter that opinion.

What I will say is a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has been involved in this project. From the incredible staff that we have, TOCA, MSport, RML and all of the championship suppliers. All of our partners and sponsors, it has been a wild ride and I am sure there are some more bumps to come!

To the Morgans, Adam and Family, it has been a blast, I hope you have enjoyed it as much as us and I’m super proud of the job you have done! Thank you all so much.

Finally to set the record straight, @catacleanuk are the most incredible bunch of people, they have absolutely stepped up to the plate. When this project was conceived, the budget presented was less than 50% of what they have ended up spending. They have gone WAY over and above their requirements and obligations. Our total staff count is more than 40 people and they have kept them employed and paid. They have been the most incredible partners for me, and now for all of these people too, I’ll never be able to repay them. ❤️

Whats next? Well, watch this space. Until then, I’ll be on a beach 🏖️ Oh wait…

See you on the other side,

Rowbo xxx

N.B we will miss @tomchilton 🫶🏻

The Mercedes SLR722 Mclaren GT is one amazing car to see at a show. It has a special history leading all the way back to 2007 when it was originally built.

Sunday at Brands: signed, sealed, delivered📮

Sitting back well out of the way in race 2 for minimal risk and solid points. A big team effort checking out for a P2 in the final race of the year. 🥈

Brands as expected has been a dream to drive, and we complete the campaign for P3 in the championship - one I won’t take for granted💪🏻🔥🥉
