Drive day!!!
And Ken's birthday!!!!
Today was a stunning and nice drive down the east side of the state. Delicious food all day, and gorgeous views.
My favorite part about these little areas in the middle of nowhere is the old school honor system. Half of the little gas stations said pump first, pay inside after. Many stands with full food and snacks and a little bucket for cash that everyone follows. It's a cool vibe.

Love a chill day, but really excited to get back to racing tomorrow at Ubly 😎

Thank you everyone for the special birthday wishes. I feel so grateful entering this new decade. It's been a lot of work to get to this spot, and I'm so happy with how much I've grown. This milestone birthday hurt a little extra without mom to see all the amazing things I've been doing, but I know she's been watching and cheering me on.
I can't wait to keep doing fun amazing things and make more memories with the best people in my life, including friends I need to take more pictures with. I'm thankful for all y'all's friendship ❣️

The rest of 2024 was filled with great memories with friends.
First time at Good Guys Columbus and hoping I'll be able to go for years to come. Can't beat a weekend with great friends and cool cars.
Sick Powerfest and seeing Aussie burnout cars for the first time is insane lmao.
Woodward time is always the best. Nothing beats the look on people's faces when a wagon filled with 9 people blasts past you.
Also hype to now be able to do classic car things with my dad and his new-to-him MG B GT.
I'm really excited for 2025.

2024 continued...
I decided that Sick Week was way too easy for us, so I went and got a foxbody with an aluminum LS with about 7 weeks until Sick Summer.
The car needed a ton of work to become drag and drive ready, so it was a thrash. I'm still so thankful for all of our friends that helped us get the car in great shape, we truly couldn't have done it without y'all.
Then Sick Summer was probably the hardest week of our lives, the car just was not happy. Fighting the carb and lack of fuel down the track all week, brakes falling off, not accounting for all the weight on the car and force fitting coilovers, broken intake and then broken carb... The list goes on. It was a hell of a week, but thankfully after a long day of literal blood, sweat, and tears and good vibes brought back by our heroes, we ended the week with a PR and a car that ran like it is supposed to.
I'm endlessly grateful and thankful for all the people that helped us throughout this week. It was the best worst week, and I learned so so much. I can't wait to do it again in 2025.

2024 was a massive year
Looking back and thinking about everything that happened this year, I can't believe all of it was in 2024.
The first major accomplishment was completing my very first drag and drive in the Jeep and it really left me wanting more. Sick Week was a blast, and I am so happy to have met so many new friends, have so many more new experiences, and get fully addicted to drag racing.

It's been a month since Sick Summer already and it feels simultaneously like it was yesterday and years ago. I still feel conflicted about how the week went, but I'm so ready to do it all over again (waaay more prepared this time).

Sick Summer Day -1
----
Today was a drive day and an easy 5 hour drive turned into a 9hr long day. We knew the tires rubbed, so we got new shocks to hopefully help. Didn't think too much about the extra 400lbs of luggage and tools and husband in the car and called it good. Unfortunately it was not good😅 the tires were rubbing so bad, it was terrifying. Stopped at our great friends @austinvotta @karinnalerae to jam some spacers in there to get us to Byron, and they are the best ever and actually made the trip to @summitracing to pick up new adjustable coilovers to give to @jeremyuelsmannphoto to bring to us tomorrow.
The rest of the drive thankfully went well, aside from more rain, but the car did great. Now to make it through the week...

Can't wait to tech and test tomorrow!!!

Sick Week Day 5!!!!
And just like that...the week is over. I completed my very first drag and drive!! I swear on Tuesday I was like "man this week is taking forever" and then I blinked and it's Friday.

Ran super consistent once again, and managed to finish in the top 15 of my class. The top 3 were 0.004 seconds apart, which is insane to me. I tried to go a little faster but the car was too warm, and by the time it was cold enough, the lanes were packed and the day was over.
We had it incredibly easy with my stock vehicle and thankfully no issues, but it is still an exhausting week. 5 days of racing, each day at a different track, and 200+ mile drives between each track, in the car you're racing in. A true test of endurance and speed.

My dad came down and did Sick Ward with his Shelby GT-H, and I was so glad he came and enjoyed this wonderful chaos with us. Ken and I made a detour this morning to the beach, and got a wonderful photoshoot by a surfer.

Thanks @sickseconds , @therealsickthemag and all the sponsors (@tbmbrakes @gearvendors @peakperformance @summitracing) for putting on such an incredible event. The drag and drive community is like nothing I've ever been a part of. I made so many new friends this week being a racer, and it's made my heart so full. We all come together to do one thing, and nothing else matters.

I'll be riding this high until Sick Summer, and hopefully a little bit faster too😈
