Uncharted Quiet - Northeast Drift

Stepping away for a moment from the map I usually follow.
I let my steps carry me to the northeast, far to a point where the signal disappears and the sounds of the forest begin to take over.

Out here, freedom feels like pure oxygen. With no targets and no schedule, I am left only with the quiet stretch of green that absorbs every ounce of noise in my head. I’ve realized that the best places to find yourself are those that aren’t marked on any sign.

@rmwamn @chandrayogiswaraaa and I have decided to venture further into the pathless wild.

NAKED & UNASHAMED

I read somewhere we all want to be un-broken.

That all this healing, wellness, fitness, bio-hacking, books, therapy, self help, shadow work — we want it to erase what happened to us.

None of those things can erase the past.

What they can do is take off all the weights and the masks and the hiding those things and people put on us so that who we truly are — the pieces of ourselves hiding, packed away, buried underneath all the ruble; can finally breathe. To be and be fully in our person as we were made to be, naked and unashamed walking through the garden.

We don’t live in the garden of Eden anymore but we all long for Eden. For the place of be-ing, belonging, and being fully seen and known and loved for who we are as we are.

That is possible.

Today’s reminder you are loved, no matter what you can do for someone, have done, or ever will do. Who you are is enough. You are light in human form, shine bright. Be all that is who you are, who you truly are.

Now that I’m over halfway through my pregnancy and getting ready to celebrate our little guy this weekend, I can’t help but reflect on this picture from May.

Our Bali trip was coming to an end, and while I was happily frolicking my way through my favorite place, I felt a little discouraged after taking a few pregnancy tests that all came back negative.

On my last day in Canggu, I wandered into a small shop filled with baby clothes. As I browsed through the racks, the woman at the counter asked if I had children. I shook my head emotionally and said, Not yet, but we’re trying. She smiled and told me she would pray for a baby.

The very next day, after 24+ hours of travel back home, I stumbled into the bathroom, exhausted, and decided to take one more test. Positive. I thought, there’s no way. I took another. Positive. Six more followed, all the same.

I was overwhelmed with joy. It felt like such a full-circle moment. To leave Bali with a prayer spoken over me and to return home with that prayer already answered. It’s not called the island of the Gods for nothing 🌸

That tiny little line changed everything for me. I can’t wait to be his mom and take him on a lifetime full of adventures.
