Ya know what’s growing on me? That’s right, the Jubilee Motif OP! The can’t believe I’m even saying it, but it’s true. In the mail came a care package from my Swiss friends @tom.willefert and @seb_willefert with some goodies from @watchesandwonders including this Rolex Jubilee tote. And it’s made me think. We spend so much time criticizing Rolex for not having enough fun and praising Tudor as the “fun” brand. But then when the brand breaks out and does something out of the box, we are critical of that. I never loved the Celebration dial but for some reason this Jubilee motif works for me in a sort of Andy Warhol sort of way. So Whatya think? And to pair with it is my Batgirl that has gone over a week since on the wrist which I think is an actual crime in Swiss law! The Ingenieur is on a run! So many great collectors on here are jumping in with Ingenieur NWAs this year like @watchcology @the_watch_couple and me! And for good reason. This was just wears so beautifully and the dials are mesmerizing. Thanks to @enthuseddad and many others whose posts helped me realize this is a must own piece! And I have to admit, I didn’t get it at first when @iwcwatches relaunched the line a few years ago. But boy was I wrong. Bromberg’s was proud to be part of the Racing for Children’s dinner and auction Friday night. We donated a TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch for a chance drawing, and we’re thrilled that over $3,000 was raised for Children’s of Alabama! It’s #whitewatchwednesday and this week I think I figured out where I’d start my @zenithwatches journey. No i didn’t pull the trigger yet, but i narrowed to what it will be. I had convinced myself based on internet pics that it would be the blue dial Chronomaster Sport that would break me into Zenith for the first time, but after seeing it in the metal I felt the blue hides when in lesser lighting more than I like. buuuuut! The white pops! And it won me over. And the best thing is I’m not a big Daytona Panda fan so this satisfied the desire for a panda-ish chrono but with those beautiful multi color subdials of the CMS. Dare I say it’s cooler than the Daytona Panda? (Now I’m gonna get yelled at) So now it’s just a matter of time. I have a bunch on my wish list right now and not sure which will be next. #zenith #zenithchronomastersport #zenithwatch #chronograph
