I still DO NOT like turning acrylic. Although this one was kind of fun. This piece of acrylic was hand poured by @rustybulloch in a Mardis Gras color scheme. I made this call as a RNT /Butch Richenback tribute call during our Founders Day Celebration this past July. I turned it in the classic Rich-N-Tone shape, waxed cord for the band, and I used one of Butch’s brass duck pins on the barrel.

I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for the GRACE OF GOD and the prayers of so many people who prayed for me when I couldn’t even find the strength to pray for myself. 🙏🏻❤️

They say, “You don’t look sick.”
They say, “You don’t look like what you’ve been through.”
They say, “You don’t look like you’re in pain.”
They say, “I never would’ve known you were sick.”
They say, “You don’t look like you have autoimmune diseases or a chronic illness.”

And you know what? That’s the thing about what people can see on the outside. They don’t see the battles you fight behind closed doors. They don’t see the pain you push through, the tears you cry, the nights you struggle, or the days when simply getting out of bed feels impossible.

They see me standing, but they don’t know how many times I’ve been knocked down. They see me smiling, but they don’t know the battles behind that smile. They see me still going, but they don’t know how many times I’ve wondered how I was going to make it through.

BUT GOD.

I know what I’ve been through, and I know where my strength comes from. I know the times I should’ve given up, the moments I thought I wasn’t going to make it, and the battles that nobody else saw.

I also know I wasn’t fighting alone.

God heard the prayers of the people who lifted my name when I needed it most. He gave me strength when I had none left, and His grace carried me through moments I never thought I’d survive.

I’m not standing here because I’m strong enough on my own. I’m standing here because of JESUS.

I still have battles. I still have pain. I still have days when my body reminds me that I’m sick. But my illness does not define me, and my circumstances do not define my God.

So if you look at me and wonder how I keep going, let me tell you.

IT’S ALL BECAUSE OF JESUS.

All glory belongs to Him. Not me. Not my strength. Not my ability to keep pushing.

HIM. ❤️🙏🏻
