I think we might have found the peak of NB’s. Does it get much better !!!!! Check out @jordanmx_5 mx5 sporting some garage vary aero and TE 37’s 🤤 make sure to check his page out and the other boys over at @niightstyle for some amazingly built roadsters and equally as serious drivers 🙌🏻

“It’s a 99 nb miata, currently 322k miles on it. Had the car since highschool, was supposed to be a daily shitbox car to learn drifting but turned into my life’s work. Now built motor, efr turbo, v mount, tons of suspension work and visuals. My favorite mod is definitely the cusco 2 way differential which allows me to do time attack and drifting with only minor tire and brake changes. Theres different schools of thought when you build a car but for me the best car is one you can Enjoy on the street, look stylish, and perform on track.”

Don’t think he could have put it any better. Build cars you enjoy not only looking at but driving !!!!!

August….donuts, swamps, VW campers, lobster men….

Does this mean summer is over? Is that it? I feel so….unsatisfied. I suppose it’s been pretty good, you know…geopolitical happenings aside.

Did some exploring with the dog, she decided she likes swamp water so I guess we’ve got that in common. Started September with a vet visit today so we’re not off to a good start.

Got a good deal on an ARB roof rack which started my preparations for an October road trip to Nova Scotia. Hard wired starlink, my cooler, and a generator charger into the Land Cruiser. Replaced my crusty old ripped seat cover with a less crusty, less ripped old seat cover. Fixed my horn, found a hand full of exhaust leaks, tried to figure out a rough idle, broke into my garage.

Couple meets….@revivalmotoring donut meet and @brownbeecoffee cars and coffee. Donut meet was awesome as always. Brown bee however was really not my scene. If you didn’t think super car owners could get more pretentious and self important….make them street park at a free event. Money can’t buy taste, or class evidently.

I didn’t take many photos this month, I should be better about that. Then again, I only post a handful anyway so maybe not. Ricoh is ever faithful and never leaves my side. It’s a lovely little machine.

I just have to get through September then I’m off for the entire month of October. I need it…I’m fucking cooked and starting to go slightly crazy.
