🍰Since as far back as @djbendaley can remember. The first Saturday in the New Year was the perfect time for fellow Januarians @deligthetouch and @djbendaley to get together and celebrate with a knees up at the wonderful @theloveinnbristol. We’ve been doing this so long now, the candles cost more than the cake 😆. Kicking off 10pm till late. We hope you can join us 🎶🎊🎈🎂🎶. Chopping it up with the legend @deligthetouch on @swu.fm a couple of weeks back - talking all things @roasted_uk & SNE ahead of our link up at @deathdiscobristol on Friday

If you’re looking for a more lowkey Halloween motive with guaranteed good vibes and elite sounds, but no pressure to dress up (obvs can if you want… we don’t judge either way!!) or engage in any forced fun. Then head over to Headfirst cos tickets are on final release

Back on the @swu.fm airwaves this afternoon from 2pm. Ahead of our Halloween link up with @roasted_uk we’re joined in the studio by Bristol’s house music OG @deligthetouch for a chat & mix… with stories for days and a selection to match, Deli is always worth locking in for. Plus an hour of the freshest in Amapiano, Afrohouse & 3 step from Stylz & Koast 🔒🔒🔒

This is a special one! See No Evil meets Roasted! For our last event of the year, we link up with the legends @deligthetouch and @djbendaley for a Halloween special.

Roasted has stood the test of time like not many others in Bristol, with over 2 decades of events, so we are super excited to finally link up after all these years.

Expect to hear the best in Amapiano, House and Garage to take you on the journey.

@beautifulpeoplebristol PRESENTS 90s HOUSE MUSIC this Saturday
@bambalanbristol
4pm - 10pm 🌞 FREE ENTRY🌞TERRACE PARTY 🌞
With
BEN DALEY @djbendaley (@roasted_uk)
NICK HARRIS @a_sagittariun (NRK RECORDS)
IVOR WILSON (Revolution/ Lakota)
THRILOGY

BEN DALEY:

Ben began his dance music collection in 1989 eventually buying his first turntables in 1993 playing rave, hardcore & early jungle. Before he was old enough to get in the clubs, Ben would spend his weekends in 5HQ Leicester buying records, then making mixtapes to sell at school the following week.

It was in 1996 Ben discovered the House & Garage sound and was influenced by the sounds of Karl Tuff Enuff Brown, Hermit & Jason Kaye to name a few. Moving to Bristol a year later, he ended up playing almost every night to packed clubs and bars pioneering the early UKG/2step sound. This led to various pirate and community radio shows (PassionFM, Powerjam, KuteFM), with guest mixes on BBC's 1Xtra and regular residencies in Bristol & London.

In 2004, Ben & Deli G started the now legendary Sunday Roasted parties, where US House met with UK Garage, originally focussing on the 90s sound. These small, intimate parties boasted guest appearances from artists such as Kerri Chandler, Marshall Jefferson, Todd Edwards and Danny Rampling to name a few. Roasted is still going today now in its 19th year.

In recent years, as the music continues to evolve, Ben can often be found incorporating a more diverse sound into his sets, exploring afro, latin, disco while keeping to his love of the infectious dance floor groove and feel good beats.
