Back by demand after making the huge crowd here boogie so much - T.Rextasy are coming back to the White Rock!

It’s almost 50 years to the day when Marc Bolan and T.Rex performed at the Hastings Pier Ballroom. No one in the world recreates a T.Rex concert experience and celebrates their music like Danielz and this incredible band have been doing for over 30 years.

So if you keep a little Marc in your hearts and love his music, catch @trextasymarcbolan here next year on Friday 29 May 2026.

🎫 Tickets are now on sale.

The belated 45th anniversary show celebrating the life & music of Marc Bolan! I was lucky enough to have been at the 40th in 2017, now the 45/46th this year & hopefully I’ll be at the 50th if we’re all still rocking in 2027! With due credit to Neal X (@themontecristos) for his organisational as well as his musical skills! KALMIYH 💜

Still not come down from Friday evening’s celebration of the life and wonderful music of Marc Bolan and T. Rex at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London. An incredible line-up with the World’s best T. Rex tribute band T. Rextasy, The Dirty Pretty Strings conducted by the legendary T. Rex producer/arranger Tony Visconti, Holly Johnson, Dana Gillespie, Richard Barone, Andy Ellison from Marc’s first band “John’s Children”, Polecats and former Morrissey guitarist Boz Boorer - (he played sax as well!), Phil Polecat, former T. Rex/Wings saxophonist Howie Casey, Tim Weller on congas/bongos/hand percussion for a change, Chris Savage on keys, wonderful joyous singers Louise Marshall and Bryan Chambers and course the brillant, ever vibrant and energetic Marc Almond. I’d like to give special mention to Robin Carr who single-handedly took care of all T. Rextasy’s equipment and worked tirelessly for two days. Thanks also to all the crew at SBE - Justin on monitors, Mark on FOH sound, the lovely lighting lady, stage manager Ben, Clem Southgate for the projections and film clips and anyone else I’ve forgotten to mention. I was heavily involved behind the scenes putting this one together as well and couldn’t have done it without the help of Danielz wife Caron and old pal Iain “Robbo” Robertson who kept everything running smoothly on the day. Thanks to each and every one of you. It was a total honour to share the evening with you. I’d also like to thank Jack and Beth at Satellite Agency for doing the deals and overseeing things and all at SJM for the brilliant organisation. The only really sad thing is Marc Bolan wasn’t there himself to witness the love for him and his music. His brother Harry was though….. I hope he enjoyed it as much as we all did ❤️ Pics 1 and 3 Jason Miller @jasonmillerca Pic 2 @adelordsinclair #marcbolan #trex #tonyvisconti #marcalmond #trextasy #hollyjohnson #richardbarone #andyellison #danagillespie #timweller #howiecasey #bozboorer #philpolecat #louiseclaremarshall #bryanchambers #gitalangley #jessmurphy #kotonosato #jesscox
