Troyes new album “She’s The Best” is out in the world today and I just want to say I feel so lucky to make music with an artist who has such a clear vision and cares so deeply about every aspect of the process.

love you brother @troyesivan

I also wanna give Troye his flowers as he really got into his production bag on this album, he was sending me beats, chopping up samples, asking for stems and all that nitty gritty

Many thanks to all the writers, producers, engineers, musicians who contributed to the above

It’s a gift to be able to document a friendship through the music we’ve made

I love this album, loved making it and love all the people we made it with

I hope some closeted, gay kid in Mississippi finds this album and it helps

Troye Sivan is back with «Party,» his new single and video, the follow-up to «She’s the Best.» The song is about a night out that never quite ends, moving from place to place with no real beginning or end, built around a Madonna sample and the repetitive, hypnotic pull of dance music on an actual dance floor.

The video, directed by Gordon von Steiner, is a period piece shot at a castle in England, opening with the voice of Ian McKellen. He directed a teenage Sivan on stage in Perth years before Sivan came out to his mother, and bringing him back for this feels like Troye closing a loop.

His brother Tyde Levi worked on the track too, their first time officially making it onto a Troye Sivan release after a lifetime of trading music at home.

She’s the Best is out October 9.
