If you like comedy, creativity, or making your clients laugh as they buy your best ideas, please join us next Thursday Evening September 17 for LAUGH YOUR ADS OFF (@laughyourads_off) — an epic night bringing some of the funniest people in Austin advertising, commercial making and comedy together under our roof.

We have an amazing lineup of talent to make it a night not to be missed:

🎤 Brian Simpson @bscomedian headlines — his Netflix special was the first ever shot at the Mothership, and he’s been on Rogan enough times to earn a punch card.

🧠 Ramin Nazer @aminnazer, former Funniest Person in Austin turned psychedelic existential cartoonist, talks about the business of creative work.

🎬 Tool (@toolofna), holders of an actual Cannes Palme d’Or, pulls back the curtain on how the make sure really funny scripts become really funny spots.

📣 Laugh Your Ads has also pulled together a heavy hitter panel creative talent including Craig Allen, founder of @thisiscallen, Jay Russell, CCO @gsdmaustin, creative director Mary Williams-Barber @marykat33, creative and acclaimed author Thomas Kemeny @tkemeny, and hilarious director duo Bonnie and Alison @bonnie_and_alison from Tool. They’ll be sharing their actionable advice and stories on how to get funny work sold again and again (and again) on a panel moderated by our own Preacher CCO @robbaird.

Beats by the delightful weirdos at Singing Serpent @singingserpent, craft beers by our local favorite Hold Out Brewing @holdoutbrewing, and delicious wieners by the one and only Zees Wiener System @wienersystem.

So please come join us for some great conversations, great grub, beer and cocktails, and probably (DEFINITELY)some solid jokes about Zee’s wieners.

So much to say about this evening, this place, and all these beautiful people. Vespaio has been our home—our comfort zone—the place where our community comes together to share a delicious meal with family (the Vespaio staff).
There will always be a void in our hearts for this gem, but we will forever treasure it for carrying us through celebrations, hard times, and quiet moments of respite.
Thank you for all the beautiful years. We will always be grateful for you and for the memories. Miss you so much already!!!
