With all the sun exposure, our Drake Durkee bench needed a touch up, so Mr. Gneiser and former intern Watkins refreshed it for a new semester!

Third times a charm! Thank you Windy <3

Interning at Windy Peak was truly the most beautiful experience of my life. It has taken me a while to figure out what to say because this experience was indescribable. What I do know is that I will carry all that I've learned with me for the rest of my life. And I do know that I'm incredibly thankful for all of the opportunities Windy Peak and the staff have given me. This past semester I had the opportunity to come back for a third time to create a ton of different media projects for Outdoor Lab. I had the time of my life filming and creating videos that tell the story of Windy Peak and show everything that outdoor lab is. I loved every moment of capturing the experience, feelings, and community of WP. I am incredibly grateful for all of my fellow interns and for the staff at windy peak. Wherever I go, my heart will always be with Windy, and I will always cherish every moment I had there. Thank you 🌄

What a beautiful experience this was. Words can never do justice to Windy Peak, because it’s a feeling. The feeling of spending each day with an incredible staff and creating such lasting friendships because of this job is something I am forever grateful for. The feeling at the end of each week when 6th graders leave better people than they were. The feeling of creating memories with them and making an impact in their lives is amazing. I have learned how to appreciate nature greater, understand myself and others deeper, and love stronger. I am endlessly grateful for this year💛🏔️🦉🐞🪐❄️
