Trying to process that this is it :) Wanted to hop on here and just say that I’m grateful for it all.
There’s no better club to be a part of during your four years of college. There’s truly nothing else like it.
People of all backgrounds, stories, beliefs, and personalities. A place where growth and love somehow exist alongside competition. In a world that can feel divided, this club is a place where people showed up for one another. (No matter what?)
Almost everyone comes to college looking for belonging, purpose. People want to feel seen, known, and loved and Psuclubroundnet offers that. It’s not perfect and we all fell short. But I’m proud of how this team responds to adversity. So many extremely high character individuals who respond well to when things go wrong.
My hope is that in my time leading, I gave equal parts grace and truth. That this club continues to be a place where people are challenged, welcomed, cared for, and called higher. My hope is that it continues on with tailgates and tournaments. That we have faithful friendships, and the club continues to grow in all aspects.
Four years ago, we were unranked. Three years ago, lost in the Round of 16. Then quarterfinals. And this past weekend… 3rd in the country. While the national championship wasn’t accomplished as a player, I hope yall with have me back as a coach to win it all next year.
So many thank you’s to give and I won’t hit them all. But thanks Ashley, Alaina, Zach for killing the social media in my time. Will always have memories to look back on.
Thank you Tyler and Henry for starting this thing and trusting me with it earlier than expected.
Thank you Otis and Robbie for freshman year, cold plunges, and some of the most ridiculous memories.
Thank you to my core four who served alongside me in my years: Raylyn, Matt, Mike, Kade, JT.
And thank you to those carrying it forward, y’all with kill it, JT, Kaden, Kade, Pete.
Protect what makes this club special.
No player is bigger than this thing.
Keep competing. Keep loving people. Keep showing up. Keep it going. NO MATTER WHAT.
And of course as Sidney Mathues once said, PSU Club Roundnet to the moon 🌕

Introducing the Penn State Club Roundnet 2025 Northeast Sectional Roster!

Two weekends ago, Penn State Club Roundnet traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota, for college nationals. First and foremost, we’d like to thank everyone who made this possible. It’s quite an amazing opportunity to travel around the country with your best friends, playing a backyard game that means so much to us.

Secondly, we’d like to congratulate the D2 team for placing 3rd at college nationals. All six of them worked day in and day out to compete and place at nationals. Their dedication and work ethic are unmatched.

Finally, I’d like to talk about D1. The D1 team ended up falling short in the Round of 16 to Emory. While our dreams were much bigger, given how competitive we all are, we’ve learned that it’s much more important to enjoy the time spent with one another. This team means so much to all of us, so we’re going to continue to make the most out of it.

Thank you, seniors. To our D1 guys—Sid, Henry, and Eric—we love you, and you’ll be missed. And as @smathues always says, “PSU Club Roundnet to the moon.”

📸Thank you @kjraabe11 for coming along and taking photos.
